At this point, Walker knew his time of hiding around was over. I pushed the money on the table in his direction.
"Take this money and I want you to disappear off the face of the Earth. I don't want to see you and Mala shouldn't be able to find you either. Change your name. Address and maybe lose a few pounds while you're at it."
"D-don't you want me to answer any q-questions?" He stuttered.
"No. I can tap into your memories. I already know what I need." He sighed with relief but I wasn't done threatening him. "If you even try communicating with Mala, your daughter and wife will drop dead wherever they're standing."
That immediately triggered him to become angry. "How dare you-"
"How dare you?!" I slammed my hands on the table. "You're the one who gave them the information that can bring me to my knees so don't even f*cking get angry that I'm threatening your family. I have no choice anymore, Walker. I have everything to lose here because of you."
His violet eyes met mine. "I'm sorry."
"Well, I'm sorry that I don't forgive you so don't act surprise when I come knocking on your door to collect your soul and I send it to hell."
"You think you're so tough, DiRomero, but have you ever cared about someone that you'd do anything for them?"
"That's exactly what I'm doing now."

That was one thing off my checklist. Time for number two. Kane.
Royals university was my worst nightmare in one building. A place where could-have-been princes and princesses hang about and try and make it to fame. But that's not what I hated about the place. It was the girls. Their need to become part of any royal family was slightly sickening which is why I didn't apply there. I didn't mind the attention but stalking me was taking it too far.
I drove into their parking lot, waiting for the prick who I predicted was going to leave the main building at any moment. I got out of the car and leaned on it, impatient. Then I saw him. He walked out with his squad and his arm around this girl with light hair. He laughed with the guys, making so much noise that they sounded like a zoo while the girl hung onto every word they were saying.
Kane paused when he noticed me, bringing a smirk to my face. I felt a slight buzz of excitement, trying to find out what was the best way to annoy him. He narrowed his eyes and stormed in my direction.
"Why are you f*cking here?" He gritted out. A prince threatened because someone has entered his kingdom. Lol.
"Isn't he the prince?" One girl whispered to her friend. I waved at her but kept my eyes on Kane, ignoring the murmurs from them.
"I just wanted closure," I said in fake sorrow. "And to drop very important pieces of information on you."
"You're not allowed to be here, you royal d*ck," Kane told me.
I pointed to the lower part of my body. "My d*ck is royal, thank you for noticing. And I can go wherever I want."
"You think everything is a joke, don't you? Because you were born into a rich family with a silver spoon in your mouth."
"You're wrong," I said sadly. "They only fed me with a gold spoon with diamonds encrusted in it. The silver was used for my forks."
He gapped at me. "You're such an asshole."
"Since we're name calling, you're a b*tch. Now, end things with Rhea."
"No."
"Why the f*ck not? Theoretically, you're over anyway."
The light brunette who he had his arm around gasped. "You didn't end things with her? But you told me-"
My eyes turned to her. Then I knew what was going on. "Tash, is it?" She nodded. I pointed to her then Kane. "Let me be blunt. Kane, you have 24 hours to break up with Rhea officially or I will tell her that you've been f*cking your best friend up to a point where she's pregnant."
Everyone gasped in shock.
"Oops?" I said unapologetically. "Well, congratulations!"
No one said a word. Kane looked horrified and Tash looked like she wanted the ground to swallow her up. I could arrange that but I had a lecture to get to in 30 minutes and their school was more than an hour away. I guess I would be getting a speeding ticket.
"How did...how do you know?" Tash asked getting angry.
"Because that thing is alive so I know when it's gonna die," I said. "Kane for the last f*cking time. You and Rhea are over. Take your little wedding ring and leave her the f*ck alone."
"You son-of-a-b*tch! You can't f*cking come here and tell me what to do."
I jutted my jaw in Tash's direction. "You have a child and...whatever she is to you so look after them than coming after what isn't yours."
"She's not yours either!"
"I know that. But she could be."
I opened my car door and got inside. I started to reverse when I heard shouting from Kane.
"I got to her first. Rhea's mine! Did you hear me? Rhea is-"
He never got to finish his sentence because
I hit him with my car.
By accident.

Is this late? Well... Sorry.
Lately, my neighbourhood has decided to start the fireworks early.
They sound like bombs...
It's quite scary XD but it happens every year until December (2 months of torture).
So Kane... Bad boy. At least he's been dealt with.
