Ava's P.O.V 2 weeks later

"I bet I can beat you to the end of the woods." I smirked glancing at the road that was just in eye sight through all the trees. Theo raised an eyebrow, "if you're up to it princess." He challenged, mirroring my smirk. I took off making him shout, "cheater!" I laughed as I ran as fast as I could without tripping. My mind racing with different thoughts, Theo and I have been on two dates, a third one coming up tomorrow, plus we've been running together almost every morning. I don't know if we're "official" yet.

I came to a stop as I reached the edge of the woods, turning to see Theo coming out of them. "You cheated." He panted as I was catching my breath as well. "Pshhh, no I didn't." I said, drinking some water. He shook his head, laughing as we were finally able to breathe normally again. "I'll let it slide." He mumbled pulling me closer to him, his hands on my hips, I tilted my head to the side slightly as I looked up at him. "What are we?" I asked, "I'm not just gonna be some fling." I added on instantly, he smiled. "I know you're not." He assured me, "I'd like for you to be my girlfriend." He grinned raising his eyebrows at me.

I wrapped my arms around his neck, kissing him softly. He moved away slowly, looking directly into my eyes, seeing how happy I was, the emotion mirrored in his eyes. "I got myself a girlfriend." He laughed under his breath, I smacked the side of his arm softly, "shut up." I let out a breathy laugh.

"You don't always have to walk me home." I sighed to Theo as he stood at the bottom of the stairs up to my front porch, "yeah I do." He responded, "it's what good boyfriends do." He winked. I felt my cheeks warm up, making him smile. "Bye, Theo." I mumbled, kissing him quickly. He smirked, "bye." He responded, watching me until I got inside.

"Hello!" I called into the house, waiting to see if there was a response, I sighed as there was none. I let my hair fall down behind my shoulders as I walked upstairs, planning on taking a shower, feeling gross from my now almost daily run.

I sighed in content, walking into my room, a towel pulled around my body. I shut my door, even though I'm home alone, I don't know when someone will show up. I was about to drop my towel, "wait!" Someone shouted. I screamed turning around quickly, holding the towel tightly around me, prepared to run if necessary. "Isaac!" I scolded, before it even processed in my mind. "Isaac!" I cheered, a giant smile forming on my face, "I'll be back in a minute." He mumbled, sliding out of my bedroom so I could change.

I pulled on my clothes quickly, excitement rushing through me. "Isaac! How are you here?!" I asked, practically jumping on him as I hugged him. "I'm back." He laughed, hugging me back. I leaned my head back, "are you serious?" I asked slowly, his time in Paris was indefinite, I didn't think he would ever come back. "Yes." He responded, letting go of me.

I jumped up and down, "my best friend is back!" I shouted. Isaac smiled, shaking his head at my excitement, "did you tell Scott yet?" I asked, joining Isaac on my bed, "no. I wanted to come see you first." He answered, pulling my camera off of my nightstand. I didn't take it from him, just letting him look through the pictures, he smirked. I furrowed my eyebrows looking at the screen, letting out a small "oh" when I saw those pictures of Theo in the woods on my camera. "Who's that?" Isaac asked, raising an eyebrow at my blushing face. "My boyfriend." I answered, "but when I took those he wasn't yet." I added on, motioning to the pictures.

"You got a boyfriend and didn't tell me!" He exclaimed, faking hurt. I rolled my eyes, "sorry, I wasn't the one who was in Paris." I mumbled, he sighed, changing the subject. "Give me your phone." He ordered holding his hand out, I was confused but gave it to him anyways. "Isaac." I whined as he tried taking a picture of us, a snapchat filter hovering over our faces, I smiled over exaggeratedly and let him post it, knowing Theo would see it and probably over react but I'll deal with it later.

"How have you been?" I asked after a long silence, my voice being gentle, remembering how distraught he was when Allison died. The car accident having effected us all, "I'm good." Isaac nodded. "So tell me about this Theo guy." He demanded, leaning forward, getting ready to listen to me intently. I picked at the edges of my finger nails as I felt a blush rise to my face.

Theo: Hey baby
Hi
Theo: What are you up to? Hanging with that guy from Snapchat?
Well, he's my best friend so yeah
Theo: Okay, I'll let you get back to that then
Wait- does this bother you?
Theo: We'll talk about this another time.

I didn't bother replying, not wanting to push the subject any further. I glanced up as Scott laughed at something Isaac said, Stiles letting out a chuckle before noticing my stare. He raised an eyebrow at me but I shook my head with a smile, silently trying to tell him it's okay- at least I hope it is.
