Ava's P.O.V
"Did you like this one?" I asked hopefully, looking down at the list of apartments, there's only one left after this, and if he doesn't like it he's out of places that he can afford. "Not really." Theo sighed, grabbing my hand as we walked to his truck, "there's one left." I informed him, smiling as he opened the passenger side door- like always. "I guess we're going there then." He joked, the bruises from that night, a little over a week ago, now basically unnoticeable.
He's accomplished a lot since then, he's settled things with his mom but decided he still want's to move out, and he's gotten a job, nothing special, just a little thing down at the bowling alley because they were the only place that was hiring that didn't require experience. "What's that for?" I asked as Theo pulled my hand up to his lips as he drove. "You've been putting up with all my crap for a week now, so it was a thank you I guess." He answered, glancing at me for a second before looking back towards the road.
"You put up with a lot worse for me, barely a month ago, this is nothing." I assured him, squeezing his hand softly.

I couldn't help but smile to myself when I saw the outdoor space at this apartment complex, it would surely make a nice backdrop for pictures, which I've been slacking on, because of everything that's happened. And I can't help but feel like, a lot more, is going to happen.
"We have two apartments available at your price, would you like to see them?" I got pulled out of my thoughts as the lady behind the desk started speaking, my face flushed as I realized I was totally zoned out for a solid few minutes. "Yes, ma'am." Theo answered her politely, which no one expects him to have such good manners, but he does, when he needs to at least.
"This is really nice." I whispered to him as we walked into the bathroom off of the master bedroom, he nodded in agreement. "See, I told you we'd find me something today." He smirked, I shook my head, with a laugh, and started venturing off into the surprisingly big closet, "wow." I thought to myself. I went back out to the living room where the lady was waiting, "do you like it?" She asked with a smile, I nodded, "he does." I answered, hinting to her that he's the one who's moving in, "oh, right." She looked a little embarrassed, Theo walked out.
"So?" I asked, he nodded, "I guess I've got some papers to sign." He smiled, he looked genuinely happy, and that made me happy. "You're gonna be seeing a whole lot more of me, I'll always be here just to go outside and take pictures." I teased him, he rolled his eyes in good nature. "I'm not a good enough view for you?" He fake pouted, I shook my head going along with his little joke.
"Babe, I can't believe you actually got your own place!" I freaked out momentarily once I got in his truck, "me either." He admitted, "it's gonna be so empty." He added, laughing under his breath as he backed out of the parking spot. He get's to move in this weekend, since there were no tenants in it right now.
"Yep, I guess so." I responded, picturing all the stuff from his bedroom in there, he's not even going to have a couch in his living room. "At least it will be an easy move." I said in a questioning tone, he chuckled, lacing our fingers together with his free hand like he always does. I started chewing on my bottom lip, debating about asking him, what my dad told me too.
"Theo." I mumbled getting his attention, he hummed in response, and I saw him look at me out of the corner of my eyes. "Scott and his mom are coming over for dinner on Monday, and my dad wanted to know if you wanted to join us?" I asked, "oh, so you don't want me there." He teased, since I said my dad wanted to know, "really." I sighed, "of course I'll come." He answered, "just tell me when and I'll be there." He added, a small laugh under his breath.

"Mrs. Raeken." I smiled, putting what she said to me just a week ago, in the back of my mind. She gave me a small, very very small, smile and walked away, which I can say was the nicest she's ever been to me. "Come on." Theo complained as I took my sweet time going upstairs to his room, "I'm tired." I pouted as he stood with his arms crossed at the top of the stairs. He shook his head with a smile and wandered off into his room, eventually I made it to his room. I couldn't help but laugh when I saw the boxes scattered crossed his floor. "You're really prepared huh?" I teased, I watched as he shrugged, his back towards me as he dug threw his drawers for something.
I tried to stay silent when I walked up behind him, he whirled around scaring me in the process, making me trip and fall on my butt. "Ow." I mumbled before he started laughing at me, "it's not funny." I complained standing up and feeling the stinging pain, "I'm sorry babe." He tried to grab my waist and pull me closer but I dodged his attempts, "baby." He whined when I plopped myself on his bed, "you're supposed to be helping me." He added, climbing on top of me.
I placed a hand on his cheek, "sorry." I murmured, pushing myself up to peck his lips. "If you don't stop looking at me like that we're never gonna get any packing done." He sighed in annoyance, I removed my hand from his cheek, "would it help if I looked at you like this?" I asked him, focusing on the tip of my nose, making my eyes cross. "Stop!" He groaned finally getting off of me, "see! It worked!" I defended myself as I got up, feeling him watch me.
"Get off your butt and help me!" I told him, throwing a pair of his gym shorts at his face. "Oh god, these need to be washed." He grimaced yanking them off his head. I laughed shaking my head, "typical boy." I whispered under my breath, "I'm not deaf." He spoke softly, mimicking me.
