Jean didn't fall asleep until late that night. Everything that happened was still so shocking. Her eyes slowly closed.

Visions from the past few months flooded her head. Tortured. Tortured because she had not stolen another person's money. Tortured because she didn't go as fast as she could. Tortured because she refused. And finally tortured for escaping that treacherous place. He tortured her, laughing, smiling, not caring at all.

She was screaming at him to stop, but it was like she was mute. His men trapped the other girls in the corner of the room, preparing to do the same to those who didn't listen.

There was an interruption. The men left the girls in the corner and started investigating. One girl didn't stay, cowering, in the corner. She fled through the door. Two men got up to try to get her, but they tripped.

"WHERE IS SHE?" he screamed.

Nobody moved their mouth.

"IF NOBODY TELLS ME, SHE GETS IT."

He continued screaming, pointing to Jean. Nobody moved their mouth

"Well, then." He picked up a shiny object.

"No! No!" Jean screamed, crying. Her vision started to blur out, but she could see them staring at her form the corner. They had this paralyzed look on their faces. It got all dark.

Jean was screaming and shuffling in her bed. She was yelling. Tears were streaming down her face and the sheets were all messed up. Her legs were weighed down, but she managed to drag them. Her hands were grasping the edges of the mattress. She was breathing fast and heavy.

Davy couldn't get to sleep.

He still couldn't figure out what Mike saw. Jean is pretty, but how did Mike see the thing so quick?

"You know, I'm not so sure what happened."

Davy crept out of bed and quietly opened his door. It was pitch black.  He tried making his way down the stairs by feel. It worked until the last few steps.

"Oh, good for me."

He heard a sort of shouting and froze.

Davy quickly turned on a lamp.

"Well, that was not exactly graceful," he said, grabbing a pillow. "And not threatening either."

He walked closer and closer to the door and slowly opened it.
