November (present day)
Harry walks out of the building where they had the 'urgent' meeting. Seeing New York at night could be shocking. It's November which makes everyone desperate for warmth.
Harry walks into the nearest subway station. After going through the turnstile Harry had to wait for the train to arrive. While waiting he heard the familiar Marimba ringtone coming out from his back pocket. He takes his phone out and answered it since it was Liam who was calling.
"Hey, Liam."
"Hi. Are you home?" Liam asks quickly.
"Busy, no. Home, no... Why?" Harry answers his questions.
"Call me when you get home because Niall and I have to talk to you."
"Okay," Harry says before Liam hangs up without a goodbye. Liam could be serious, but sometimes a little too serious, and it gets on Harry's nerves at times.
Harry's train arrived at the station, so he got in.
* * *
After riding the train for twenty minutes, it stopped for the third time. Since it was Harry's destination, he got off.
He then walks out of the station feeling the cold air surrounding him. While walking among people, he heard three loud guns shots. He also heard people screaming and running out from a grocery store, which is across the street from where Harry was at. So, he ran towards the commotion, as others did the opposite.
When he entered, he heard a male voice shout "NOW!" To a female employee.
The employee noticed Harry entering the store, which made the guy turn around and see Harry. So he immediately got the poor terrified woman, pointed his gun to her head and starts holding her hostage.
Harry starts laughing quietly to himself since he finds the guy's cowardly actions humorous. Sometimes Harry can't take serious situations seriously. But this time he knew that he's gonna need to be serious if he wants to save the woman's life.
"Let's not put her life on the line," Harry said.
"Or what?" The guy said with a smirk at the end.
In a split second, Harry reaches to his lower back, gets his gun, removed its safety and then points it to the guy, and say:"Or your head would be my target."
Harry could notice that the guy wasn't threatened enough to let the employee go.
"Okay let's supposed that you did kill her. You would be charged with first-degree murder... Which would probably be a penalty of death, or even life imprisonment." Harry informed the guy.
"Now my question for you is... Are you still willing to pull that trigger?" Harry continued.
A few seconds later of thinking, the guy lets the woman free. Who then ran straight out of the store. He probably let her got, but he wouldn't give himself up too easily. But at this point it's only Harry and the guy pointing their guns to each other.
"What's your name?" Harry asks.
"Marvin," Marvin said a few seconds later.
" You're a smart man for letting her go," Harry complimented.
"But too slow," Harry added. He immediately shot a bullet into Marvin's shoulder. Who moaned in pain and dropped his gun onto the floor.
While Marvin was in pain, Harry ran to get the gun from the floor, put it in his pocket. He then grabbed Marvin by the hair and slammed his face into the cash register, making him fall unconsciously.
