I run throughout the woods, searching for his scent. The trees rushing past my line of vision blurred. I run until I hear a faint groan. My heart racing out of my chest as I slowly catch the scent of blood. The kids follow behind and gasp at the sight that just caught my eye. I run and sit next to Josh, who is slumped against the base of an old, rotted tree. He smiles weakly at me and places his cold, bloody hand on my cheek. His skin is already sickly pallid, his eyes already lighter than usual, and his lips no longer the plump pink they used to be. Hot tears streamed down my face, my focus turns to Scott. I stand and point an index finger at him, scolding him.

"How could you?!" I snap at Scott. His focus falls to the ground.

"I didn't have a choice." He mumbles under his breath.

"Why?" I ask, he lifts his head and gives me a sadistic look.

"He killed Allison." He snaps, his focus regains on me. He steps closer to me.

"He was the one that got Stiles possessed, he had Allison killed." He adds. I look at Josh and shake my head in disbelief.

"He couldn't have, he wasn't even here when she died. He was in Florida." I reply. Scott shakes his head and looks at his bloody hands.

"You lied to me?" I ask, turning to Josh. He doesn't say a word, he just sits there. He groans in pain. I push that aside and focus on the task at hand.

"I can't do anything to help him." Scott turns his back to me, hanging his head.

"You seriously want me to watch him die, because you watched Allison die?! Is this just payback, Scott? You just wanted revenge- is that it? You hurt my husband, all for revenge of Allison," I take a breath and drop to my knees to heal Josh. Scott turns to me and nods.

"I wanted revenge, I knew that you wouldn't see things the way I do. I don't kill innocent people, Carrie. And I didn't mean to harm him as bad as it is, it's the super moon. You know exactly what I'm going through." He replies.

"'Harm him as bad as it is?' What the hell, Scott?! Do you even hear yourself?! Since when did the True Alpha, the one who wanted to help people, have a change of heart?! Did you decide that getting revenge no matter what the consequence would be, the super moon is to blame? That it's worse than sparing an innocent?" I hiss. He stands speechless. I look at Josh and push my feelings of anger aside.

"I'm sorry, Carrie." He mutters before beginning to walk back into the woods.

"It's a little too late for sorry, Scott." I reply. I direct my attention towards Josh and try to calm myself.

"Josh look at me, you're gonna be alright." I assure him. His eyes are almost closed, I take his cold hand in mind and allow the pain to flow through my veins. My veins turn black, inch by inch. It causes me slight pain at first and then it gets easier.

"I love you." He whispers. I smile and wipe the tears with the sleeve of my jacket. I smell the kids scents approaching.

"Don't cry babe, I can haunt you, we can be together." He replies with a laugh. He would probably be a pain in my butt if he haunted me.

"Dad!" The boy, who looks more like Josh than he does me, exclaims. He is practically like a giant. The little girl is standing behind him, worrying that Josh might die.

"I just need to heal." Josh replies. The little girl looks at Josh with tears in her eyes. We both know he won't heal, the boy turns his back on Josh and I and falls to his knees. I face the boy and see the grief and utter sadness in his eyes. He reaches over and takes little Allison's hand in his. A tear rumbles down his rosy cheek.

"Come on Allison, we can't help them, it's too late." The boy mumbles.

"But Aiden, we can. They need us, I need to know our parents. I need them. We don't have a mom, I need her." The little girl, Allison, pleads. Parents?

"Josh- we have kids!" I exclaim, refocusing on Josh. His eyes are closed, heart not beating.

"No, no, no, please no-" I cry, I place my hand on his cheek and try to wake him.

"Josh, please don't leave me." I beg. Allison and Aiden fade away and leave me alone with Josh.

An incoming storm crashed, leaving me and Josh in the rain. Allison Argent appears, she places her hand on my shoulder.

"Carrie, Carrie wake up-" I hear Josh's distant voice calling my name, ever so tenderly. I smile, my eyes flutter open, revealing a blurry Josh, Chris, and Argent. Dazed and confused I lean up off the cold leather couch. My eyes wander, trying to wrap my head around everything.

"You were dead." I whisper softly. Josh sits on the side of the couch, next to my abdomen and takes my cold hand in his warm embrace.

"What's wrong babe?" He asks, I look him dead in the eyes and repeat my previous statement,

"You were dead."

Confusion struck his eyes, he softly smiled and tucked me back into the blankets.

"Get some rest, you hit your head pretty hard." He replies.

"What happened?" I ask. He shakes his head and smiles replying,

"It can wait until you heal, babe."
