Night fell quickly, and Christmas was over. "Babe?" He asks as he rolls over to face me. He runs his hand over my hip.
"It's our one year anniversary." He adds. His lips crash against mine, I smile and run my hand through his soft brown hair.

I smile and remember our wedding; beautiful, serene day, white dress, three bridesmaids (Lydia, Malia, and Braeden) trust me when I say that I had to beg Braeden to wear a dress, Josh with his groomsmen (Scott, Brett, and Mason), and no stress.
"You know what else is today?" I ask him. He arches an eyebrow and picks his head up.
"We became an amazing couple one year ago today?" He asks. I shake my head and smile.
"It's almost a full moon, your first full moon was a year ago." I reply. He smiles and chuckles.
"You locked me in your room and chained me to the radiator, let me dig my claws into an old pillow you had. Each time I snarled at you, you told me to focus on your heartbeat." He recalls, it does make me smile.
"Hey, it seemed to work for Scott and Stiles." I reply with a soft laugh. He rolled his eyes and looked deep into my eyes.
"I don't know how I kept you safe as a human." I add. I kept him safe for five years, kept my secret from him for two years of them.
*Flashback*
"Baby, I'm going on a- vacation, and you have to stay here." I tell him. He looks at me with disappointment in his eyes.
"Where are you going?" He asks. I look down and smile to break the thought of leaving him.
"Mexico, my brother and his friends are going too. I probably won't be back for a while." I mumble, trying to push aside my feelings of heartbreak and sadness.
"I'm coming with you." He demands. I shake my head and take his hand in mine.
"I'm going to be fine, I- I promise." I assure him.
"You'd better keep that promise to me, because one day, I'm going to marry you and we are going to be happy." He assures me. I smile and practically feel his heart breaking. He kisses my forehead and smiles.
"When are you leaving?" He asks. I look down at my feet again and reply,
"Tomorrow morning."
We both spend my last night cuddled up watching movies and making promises to each other.
"Josh, Josh?" I whisper as I wake up from watching Scream Queens with him. He groans and stretches on the couch.
"Did I fall asleep?" He asks in a husky tone.
"Yeah." I reply. He'd always start to watch something with me and then either I'd fall asleep, or he would.
