Josh picks me up off the ground and twirls me around in the air. The smile doesn't leave his lips.

"We are having a baby!" He exclaims. I look down at my slightly raised stomach and think, this is it, a chance at a normal life.

"We have to tell your parents." He says, taking my hands in his.

"I think we should wait, I mean, I have to find Stiles. He wouldn't want to miss the opportunity to hear that he's going to be an uncle." I reply.

I hear Lydia's scream in the distance, I look at the window, and so does Josh.

"Did you hear that?" He asks. I nod slowly and grab my jacket.

"C'mom, they could be in trouble." I reply.

"Mom we are going for a jog." I tell her, she looks up from her magazine and replies,

"Be careful, it's getting dark out there."

We run throughout the woods, feels like we're running forever. The wind in our hair, trees just a blur in our eyes. I smell their scents getting closer, they are in Canaan. I suddenly get the sense that something's wrong, I take off down the empty streets. Nobody is here, they've all been taken. Blood streams on the carousel horses. Josh catches up with me finally. I stare at an old house, that has the scents of the Pack. I gulp and take a deep breath. I walk up to the door and knock. A woman opens the door, her hair rugged and graying. Her complexion was pale, and her face was wrinkled. Her palish lips purse into a thin line as I look into the house, I see Lydia.

"May I help you?" She asks bitterly. I step back a little and clear my throat.

"My husband and I were looking for a place to stay so we won't freeze." I say to the woman. She looks down at my stomach and smiles.

"You sure can come in and get warm, anything for a woman in your condition." She replies. She opens the door for Josh and I. We both glance at Lydia quickly.

"Don't mind the girl here, she and her friends are staying too. They are staying forever, just like you." The woman says and slams the door shut. I jump when the door slams.

"Caleb will be so happy to see new guests, he can't wait to meet you." She says to me. I smile politely.

She leads me to the staircase that leads to a dark basement. With a shaky hand I grip the railing. She shuts the door behind me, Josh isn't here with me. I turn and move the knob, panicking and breathing heavy.

"Hey, let me out!" I yell at the door, it's no use.

"Carrie?" I hear Scott call out. I sigh in relief and run down the stairs.

"Scott, Malia?" I ask them. The floor is covered in water, and so is the boy. I look down at the boy who is smiling wickedly at me. He looks down at my stomach and tilts his head.

"What's wrong with your stomach?" He asks me. The kid looks about 8, his skin also pale like the woman's.

"Yeah, Carrie, what's wrong with your stomach?" Malia asks harshly. I inhale, about to make up some excuse of what's wrong, when we all stop and look at the walls. Water pours from the ceiling.

"Am I having another hallucination?" Malia asks Scott.

"If you are, I'm having the same one." Malia mutters.

"We all are, considering Lydia just screamed and there is water streaming down the walls." I reply.

"We've got to get out of here." Scott admits.
