The familiar voices fill my head again. It's not the people who are usually speaking. These voices- they're taunting and creepy. Wake up! Carrie! She's not real, she's not real. She's dead. Tell them. Tell them she's dead. Wake up and tell them. You'd better wake up. What would Josh think if you died? He'd probably go after Lydia. After all, she is stuck on finding Stiles, she won't mind a distraction. She's always wanted a distraction.

I listen to a series of beeps, beep, beep, beep. The noise belongs to an all too familiar hospital room. My eyes roll around in my head, still hoping that Corey will be alright. He has to be.

"Corey." I mumble under my breath. I open my eyes and look around at the room. The normal furniture are here; bed, nightstand, dresser, bathroom, tray, and window.

"He's gone, Corey is gone. I am sad to say this, but I am too. My shift ends at 6." Melissa replies. I look at the clock hanging on the wall that reads 5:58.

"Please stay with me." I beg her, she looks at me and smiles.

"Okay, but let me clock out and then I'll be back." She mumbles under her soft spoken breath.

"Oh honey!" Mom exclaims as she walks into the room. She looks into my eyes and smiles. Her baby pink lips purse tightly.

"I thought we lost you, don't scare us like that! Are you hurt?" She rambles as if it were one sentence.

"Mom, I'm fine." I reply softly.

"What were you doing in the woods?!" Dad asks harshly.

"What woods?" I ask him with a smile. His facial expression doesn't change.

"Don't be like your brother." He snaps. I smile.

"Hey, you can't blame a girl for trying." I say with a shrug. He rolls his eyes and pulls me into a hug.

"I just wanted to save Corey, help my friends." I mumble.

An hour has passed. My wounds healed a half hour ago, mom and dad just left, and Melissa is still no where to be found. I roll over and push the button to call for a nurse. A nurse comes in immediately, she's not Melissa. This one seems to be mid twenties, blonde hair, green eyes, and freckles showing on her cheeks and nose.

"Where's Melissa?" I ask her softly. She looks at me with a confused expression.

"There isn't a nurse by the name of Melissa." She replies. My mouth gapes open in shock, Melissa is gone.

"Okay, I need you to help me up. I'm perfectly fine, I need to go home." I reply quickly. I bunch the soft cotton blanket between my fingers and pull it off my body.

"You can't leave, you just had surgery last night." She argues.

"Look lady, I'm pregnant, and I'm perfectly fine. I need to leave now." I say through gritted teeth. She looks me up and down, and then gives in. She helps me up and grabs a few release forms. I sign them quickly, it's probably not even legible. But I could care less right now. She helps me into a set of clothes mom brought me.

I take my phone out of my pocket and dial dad's number.

"Dad?" I ask when I see that he's picked up.

"Hey, I've been released from the hospital, can you pick me up?" I ask.

"Sure, I'll be right there." He replies.

In a matter of two minutes, he pulls up in his police car.

"Hey, hop in." He says. I do as he says.
