---------------------------------------

It's been three weeks.

Three weeks.
Since a life ended.

And two week since this happened:

I wait for any sign of Brie on the screen, who went to get some water for herself.

I read the last text I sent to Mason, again:
Nobody hates you and you're not going to break, I promise. Just please go back to Kevin and Brie, they need you and you need them.

"I'm back" Brie sits down, drinking her water.
The poor kid's face is all red from crying and her eyes are puffy.

Soon, the doorbell rings and she creases her brows
"We're not expecting anyone" she frowns.

I watch as she gets up and answers the door.

I gasp and so does she.
Mason's puffy face is quite clear.
He drops to his knees in front of his sister, sobbing

She crouches in front of him too, hugging her brother and crying.

My tears, as usual, begin to flow too.

"I'm so sorry. I'm terrible" he hugs her as if his life depends on it.

"Sssh" she wipes his tears "Its okay, you're here now" they hug again and I feel like Brie is the older sibling here.

I shut my laptop, something inside me eases.

He may not be with me, but he is where he needs to be.

I wipe another tear, trying to console this stupid love sick heart of mine.

-----------------------

My eyes slowly adjust themselves to the sunshine. My eyes flutter open to see the dirt particles dancing in the sun and I check my phone to see if I have a message from Mason.

He hasn't talked to me since he came back and I'm assuming he's mad at me.
However, Brie tells me that he rarely comes out of his room and spends most of his time crying.

Every time I hear anything about him crying, my heart squeezes itself and I want to run to him.
Just so I can wipe his tears and take him in my arms for as long as he wants.

-------------------

God, it's been a very stressful day.
I have tons of work to do and I have tons of shows to watch.

I can't miss out on any of the new episodes, now can I?
That would be plain ridiculous.

"Amna. Come downstairs you nerd" Rose shouts

"Coming" I shout back.

I could really use a break from all this stuff.
Plus, I have to put the heels on the shoe I made for my assignment.

Go shoe designing!
Please notice the sarcasm

"Dude I'm freaking exhausted" I huff and plop down on the couch, welcoming its warmth and sniffing the beautiful scent that is of spaghetti.
