Jenna frowned at Tyler's words, making the man feel even more guilty. "What do you mean? What happened?" She asked, furrowing her eyebrows. Tyler swallowed hard, his sweaty hands playing with the hem of his shirt. He took a deep breath, trying to calm down a bit. "I—I..." Tyler couldn't find a say to talk to her about this without feeling like he's going to have a heart attack at any given second. He had rehearsed this conversation various times in his head, like any other normal person, but as soon as he saw Jenna's face when he walked into the café, the words immediately vanished from his head.

"I-I'm just..." Tyler sighed, trying to find the right words to use. "It's okay, Ty...Take your time," Jenna said, her voice laced with concern and comfort, as she smiled assuringly. And it's things like these that made Tyler wish the guilt would just finish killing him already rather than making him suffer this much. But he knew he deserved this.

It hurts him to hurt Jenna, and he knows it's all his fault, he knows he made a mistake. But it's better to be clear and honest with her now rather than extending this further.

Tyler put his hands on his knees and took another deep breath. "Okay...I'm really sorry, Jenna," he started, watching Jenna's expression change into one of confusion. "Sorry about what, Tyler?" The anxious man swallowed hard, his grip tightening around his knees. "I haven't been the most honest nor loyal person to you, and I'm really sorry, because you don't deserve that." Jenna looked at her husband with furrowed eyebrows, but her eyes widened slightly at his words. "W-What do you mean by that?" she asked, anxiety laced clearly around her voice.

"I've been with someone else without telling you...I've—I've been...cheating on you. I'm sorry...You don't deserve to hear these words, you're too good for them, and I'm so sorry," Tyler looked down at his hands, clenching his jaw. His chest felt a lot heavier now even though he finally told Jenna the truth. The guilt had become an even bigger and heavier load, and he could never feel more sorry and pathetic than he does now. Jenna never deserved any of this.

"I...I should've expected this." The words that left Jenna's mouth shocked Tyler. He looked up at the blonde woman with slightly wide eyes. "W-What do you mean?" Jenna sighed and pursed her lips. "For a while now, I noticed that you've been acting differently with me...It hasn't been the same between us a year after we got married, but I just thought it was something normal. As more time passed, I started to realize that it was not normal and that you've been a lot more distant than usual. I should've seen this coming, but...I wasn't really prepared for it," she explained, letting out a bitter chuckle, her eyes looking at everything but Tyler. Tyler stared at her with wide eyes and frowned. "I'm really sorry, Jenna. You're such a good woman, you don't deserve this. You never did."

Jenna shakes her head, letting out another bitter chuckle. "It's okay, Tyler. It's okay..." She sighed and shook her head again. Tyler swallowed hard, squeezing his knees, and looked back down at his hands. "So, who is it? Who's the lucky woman?" Tyler looked back up at Jenna, who had a small, sad smile on her face. Tyler could tell that she was trying her hardest not to break. She truly didn't deserve this. She doesn't deserve to cry, or be hurt this way. And he was the one who caused all this, making the guilt even more unbearable. He was an awful person, truly.

Tyler shook his head slowly and swallowed hard. "It's, uh, it's not a woman...I-It's a man. It's a guy." Jenna raised her eyebrows and her eyes widened in shock. "O-Oh, wow." It didn't even look like she was about to cry anymore. Those emotions were immediately replaced with pure shock. "Oh, wow, I didn't expect that, actually. Wow...Well, then, who's the lucky guy?"

"I-It's..." Tyler took a deep breath. "It's Josh." Jenna's eyes grew wider and her mouth went agape. "Oh my God." Tyler couldn't help but let a chuckle slip past his lips. "I should've really expected that one. I mean...you two act like a couple most of the time. But, wow, I can't believe you two are together, like, wow..." Tyler nodded slowly, a small smile making its way onto his lips. Though he still felt incredibly bad, he was glad that the tense and sad atmosphere had left them. And seeing Jenna so shocked and surprised was pretty amusing and comical. "I actually want to know more about this. How did it happen?" Jenna asked, pulling her jacket closer and placing her hands on her warm, coffee mug. Tyler nodded, smiling slightly, and began to explain.
