Katie looked up from the bowl of pancake batter and smiled at me.
"And she's cooking?" I gasped and she scoffed.
"Keep this up and you're not getting any breakfast."
"Is that suppose to be a threat? Because let me remind you that your pancakes suck." I chuckled before placing a kiss on her temple and she scoffed again.
"They do not!"
"Yeah, they do." I retorted before sticking a finger in the pancake batter and eating it.
"There's too much eggs in there." I grimaced and she grumbled something incoherent.
"Well you do it then." She rolled her eyes as she dumped the batter in the trash.
"I could always teach you." I told her but she waved me off and walked out of the kitchen.

"Bye Daddy." Kyle waved when I walked into the living room in my suit. Despite knowing Katie is going to scold, I bent down and picked him up.
"Will you bring me back a treat from your reunion?" He asked and I smiled.
"You don't even know what a reunion is."
Katie's heels sounded through the halls and she came into the living room.
"Put him down, you're going to wrinkle your suit." She scolded but I ignored her.
"Wow." I whistled at her and her scold turned into a small smile.
"Isn't mommy the most beautiful woman you've ever seen?" I asked Kyle who nodded eagerly.
"See you know that's true because we've taught him not to lie." I nodded before placing Kyle down.
"You look amazing Mrs Decker." I said before grabbing her hand so she could do a spin, giving me a perfect view of the perfect backless dress that she no doubt crated.
"Thank you very much."
"When did you make this?" I asked.
The perfect white dress clung to her in all of the right places and was only held together by a small bow at the back of her neck.

"You're truly a genius." I smiled and she kissed my cheek.
"I love you." She smiled before looking at Kyle.
"You have to go put your shoes on sweetheart." she told him and he frowned.
