Riley Meets Motherhood [2] (ON HOLD)

Chapter 7: Share Secrets

Klaus has been searching for Finn throughout the entire French Quarter. But, along the way he's been looking for Riley. He feels horrible for lying to her about Camille, he should have just told her the truth. He feels absolutely nothing for Camille, he only loves Riley and he will only ever love her.

When he finds her, he's going to tell her that. Right now, he's on the phone with Marcel. Klaus says "I have searched the entire French Quarter and Finn has vanished. I can't remove the barrier that has you trapped until I have my hand around his neck."

Marcel sighs "I was hoping you had a Plan B" and Klaus says "Davina. She doesn't know it yet, but she's going to help me break his spell. Your job is to keep Jacque alive. At least until we learn where Rebekah is..." Klaus hears silence over the phone and he sighs, frustrated "are you listening to me?"

Marcel says "yeah. That all sounds fine and good, but listen: when I was getting the werewolves out, I got bit." Klaus stops in his tracks and closes his eyes as he sighs feeling stressed and anxious. Klaus says "I will get you my blood. I will get you out of that house, Marcellus. Whatever it takes."

Riley's POV
I've been walking around the Quarter staying to myself. Maybe I should just let Nik explain, just hear him out. As for Cami, I don't know how I will ever trust her again. And God! She's with my daughter right now. Doing God knows what with her. I should be there, not her!

As I'm walking, I see a car pull up and I see Kol, Gage, Greg, and Gabby. Gabby says "hop in, we're going to the church to talk to Davina" and I ask "why?" And Greg says "we need her help to find Finn."

I nod and get in and we go to the church. As we go in, I see Davina set up a magical circle with runes made out of salt on the floor. I see Nik watching over her and I can already tell by the look on her face she's annoyed by him. They both look up at us and see us, Davina just looks away and goes back to doing her spell.

Nik is looking like he wants to run to me and hold me and talk to me, but now is not the time. Nik asks "haven't you found Finn yet?.." Davina just ignores him and continues to work on setting up for her spell "I must say, for a witch of your caliber, your spells are not particularly efficient."

Davina sighs in frustration and spats "Finn is blocking my locator spell. So, I'm trying something new. But, I need to concentrate and it would help a lot if you would stop standing over me like a stalker."

Nik says "no need to get testy, love. We both have the same goal" and Davina says while lighting a match to start lighting candles "really? Because my goal is to get Jacque out of your house alive. Which seems to be about number ten on your list."

I roll my eyes and Kol smirks and says "number nine, at least!" Gabby scoffs and rolls her eyes and goes and sits next to Davina. Davina says, exasperated "what is wrong with you? He's your brother!"

Nik says "yes! And we also have a sister, one we happen to care about more. So, until he tells us where she is, Jacque can rot as far as I'm concerned. And, you might wanna get your villains straight, love, because Finn is the architect of this fiasco. So, pick up the pace, find out where he's getting his power from, so we can stop it!" Davina rolls her eyes at him and starts chanting. Nik looks back at me, but I keep my eyes on Davina.

After a few long seconds, Davina says "I saw glimpses of him. He's combining sacred objects. Totems. Representational magic." Nik asks "where?" Davina dives back into her visions and she says "Lafayette number 1, the Lyonne tomb."

I ask, curious "and what's he using?" Davina dives in, again and after a minute, she opens her eyes and she looks completely shocked, eyes widen, and her mouth open.
