"Hello?"
"Hey bestie sis". It was Emily.
"Hey what's up?" I asked her.
"Nothing much. Just going on a date with Blake before the baby arrives," she said.
"Nice. How's Blake doing so far? I asked her
"He's good," she said.
"Hey Ali," said Blake.
"Hi Blake," I said to him.
"How's school so far? " Blake asked me.
"It's going pretty good thanks for asking," I said to him.
"Awesome," he said.
"Yeah it is," I said to him.
"Well I just wanted to say hi. Talk to you later Ali."
"Later Blake," I said to him.
"Hi", said Em.
"Hi sis. So just wondering, are you doing hospital again or home water birth this time," she said.
"Uh, we're doing the home water birth this time", she said.
"Oh ok."
"Yeah. Well, we're gonna go and get ready for our time at the beach. I'll talk to you later bestie sis. Love ya," said Emily.
"Alright sis, love you too. Bye, I said and then I hung up and went inside my house.
3 months later:
Blaine and I have been getting to know each other very well. He and I have been friends for awhile now and I started to like him but more than just a friend. However, I wasn't so sure if he liked me the same way. But, one day, he was nervous about something and he was kind of sweating too.
"Blaine, are you ok?" I asked him.
"Huh? What? Oh yeah, I'm fine," he said.
"Are you sure?" I asked him.
"Yeah," he said.
"Ok. I could literally tell something was on his mind so I waited till after Glee Club to ask him.
"Hey Blaine, are you ok? You look like you just got back from an intense workout," I said.
"Um Ali, can I ask you something"? he asked me.
"Of course, I said. Then he took me by the hand and took me to a quiet outside area at McKinley High School.
"I really, really, really like you Ali and I mean more than a friend," he said.
"Uh huh, I said. Then he got down on one knee.
"Ali, will you be my girlfriend?" Blaine asked me.
"Of course," I said. Then he got up and we started kissing each other. Boy, let me tell you. That man is a great kisser.
"I love you Ali."
"I love you too Blaine." Then we started kissing some more. That so far was the best day of my life. 😀
