Blaine and I did it again. We decided to grow our family by making another baby. It worked. I'm officially 25 weeks pregnant with our second child and it is a bouncing baby boy. It felt great to be pregnant again. However, this pregnancy was way worse than my first pregnancy with Melody. I was throwing up in the morning and not craving as much the first ten weeks. But as my pregnancy continued, I felt better and now I'm craving a lot of things but my favorite craving is soup. I've been eating soup throughout this pregnancy. Anyways, today was our baby shower day and Blaine and I were having it at our own two story house. It was a very beautiful and big house with a very big backyard and pool. Also, we were living next door to Em and Blake. Em is also pregnant again with their fourth child and she was only one week ahead of me in her pregnancy (26 weeks). Our high school friends came to celebrate with us as well and Will was there too. It was awesome seeing them again.
"Look at you girl. You look beautiful in your purple dress," said Mercedes.
"Thanks girl," I said and we hugged each other.
"So do you guys have a name for your son yet?" Artie asked us.
"We do but we're gonna announce it when he's born," said Blaine.
"Oh ok," said Artie. The party was awesome. Everyone had a good time. We played games like "Heads Up," "Name That Song," "Guess Who That Is In The Baby Pic" and so on. It was a great party. We all had fun and we took pictures with our guests. Em and I took of us with our bumps touching each other and I posted it on Instagram,Facebook, Twitter and Snapchat with the caption:
"Two pregnant Besties waiting for our little ones to pop out and meet each other for the first time." Then we took a picture of us with our handsome husbands and I posted it on Instagram, Facebook, Twitter and Snapchat with the caption:
"Two couples expecting their little bundles of joy. 😊❤️👶🏻." We all had great conversations with our guests and we danced too. It was awesome. Nothing went wrong. It was perfect. What a fun day we had today. 😊
