Recap:
Blake told us about making it official with Emily and it was at an Usher concert that she was performing at. During her performance, the lights went out.
"What the heck's going on?" Emily said. Then Usher came onstage and started to sing "There Goes My Baby" and then one of his dancers sat her down on a chair and started dancing to the song. Then Blake came out with a little box and she started crying tears of joy. He got down on one knee and began his speech.
"Babe, I love you with all my heart and soul. You're the best woman that I've ever been with and I wanna spend the rest of my life with you," he said and he took the box out of his right pocket and showed her a beautifully stunning nine carat engagement ring.
"Emily Joy Alves, will you marry me?" Blake asked her. She couldn't say it but she nodded her head "yes" and they embraced and kissed each other and he put the ring on her finger. We all ran onstage and hugged both of them and then took a pic with the happy couple on Em's iPhone 5c and they both held signs that said "He asked" and "She said yes." She then posted it on Instagram saying:
"It's official y'all. We is gettin married. #itsofficial #WeGettingMarriedY'all."
"Congrats girl. You're gonna be a Griffin," I said.
"Thanks sis," she said and then we went back to our seats and enjoyed the rest of the concert. I'm so happy for Em and Blake. They're getting married. 😊💍❤️
