I can't believe that I got engaged two months ago. I really still can't believe it. Me and Emily flew all the way to New York City to go to Kleinfield Bridal to pick out a wedding dress and this is our first time there.
"This is amazing," I said.
"Yeah it is. I can't believe you're getting married," said Emily.
"I know right?" I said
"Yeah. Then we made it to Kleinfield and it was big and there were so many dresses that were made by Mark Zunino, Pnina Tournai, Frank Lazaro and Alfred Angelo. Then my consultant named Jessica came and she was very sweet. She asked me what type of dress I'm looking for and I told her that I'm open to any type of style. I even told her that me and Blaine have a daughter and that we're getting married at Disneyland. Then, we went looking for dresses. Me and Emily found some really stunning dresses and then I went into a dressing room with Jessica. I tried on the first dress which was was a mermaid dress made by Pnina Tornai which had bling on top then I walked out and the look on Emily's face was priceless.
"What do you think Em?"
"I love it. It's very stunning on you," she said.
"I love it. However, I think we should try on some more dresses," I said.
"Ok," said Jessica and then we went back to the dressing room to try on some more dresses. I tried on some more dresses including ball gowns but they didn't seem to fit my personality. So I put the Pnina Mermaid dress back on and Jessica did put a veil on me and I walked out and Emily just started crying.
"You look amazing," she said.
"Thank you sis," I said to her.
"Do you love it Ali?" asked Jessica
"I do," I said.
"Are you saying yes to the dress?" Jessica asked me
"I'm saying yes to the dress." We all cheered and we hugged each other. Then I went back to the dressing room, put my regular clothes back on and me and Emily left the building with smiles on our faces. That was an awesome day. I found my dress 😊
