Chapter 30: Surprise Christmas Gift
Christmas Day is here. It's finally here. The alarm went off at 5:30am and I was the first to wake up because I had to get everything ready for my surprise for Blaine, Jayden and Melody. The surprise was....I'm pregnant with our third child. Yes, I'm pregnant again. So I got up and I got the onesie in a present, little shoes in another present, a pacifier in another present and a picture of a pregnancy test that I took yesterday in a bag. I put them underneath our Christmas tree and then I saw all three of them come to the living room.
"Merry Christmas Mommy," said Melody and Jayden.
"Merry Christmas Ali babe," said Blaine and we kissed.
"Merry Christmas guys. Are y'all ready to open your presents?" I said.
"Yeah," said Melody and Jayden and they got on the floor and started opening their presents. Blaine opened his present that I got him and it was a nice purple suit.
"Aww. Thanks babe. I love it," he said.
"You're welcome," I said and we kissed again. Then he handed me his gift and it was a beautiful ring with an amethyst gemstone.
"Oh babe, thank you," I said to Blaine.
"Welcome. Love you."
"Love you too." We kissed again. Then, it was time for the surprise.
"Ok. Melody, open the first gift," I said and she opened the gift that had the pacifier.
"A baby sucky," she said (it was her way of saying pacifier).
"Jayden, open the next two gifts," I said and he opened the ones with the shoes and onesie outfit.
"Shoes and a baby shirt," he said. Then I looked at Blaine.
"Ok babe, your turn," I said and I handed him the bag with the picture of the pregnancy test. He opened it and he had a surprised look on his face.
"You serious babe? You serious?" Blaine asked me and I nodded my head yes.
"I'm pregnant," I said and we kissed.
"Hey Melody, Jayden? I'm pregnant," I said and they squealed with excitement. They were so happy.
"Mommy' having a baby. Mommy's having a baby," they sang. Then we took a family photo on Blaine's phone with the pregnancy test and he posted it on Instagram and Facebook with the quote:
"Best Christmas present ever. Baby #3 on the way." Then we all sat down and had breakfast. What a great way to end the new year. In Chapter 31, Baby number three will be with us. 😊👶🏻
