Chapter 2: M-Ray Metamorphosis

TWO NIGHTS LATER.....

Atlantic City N.J, September 14th, 2013: 9:15 PM

Atlantic City.

A resort city near the big apple if you flew anyway, and was one of the highlights of New Jersey.

Great beaches, a famous boardwalk, and Casino's...it was like a mini Vegas.

It was in one of these casinos that we find ourselves in.

Slot Machine's ringing and beeping, Headliners signing, chips and cards flying and expensive food cooking in the kitchens.

It was down one of three slot machine and crap table rows a very young and sexy looking blonde woman in a slim red dress walked down the aisle dividing the two rows.

Gaining a few wolf whistles as she did.

She shook her head and continued on to where she was headed, the Black Jack table.

She stayed outside the field of view of the players at the table, and she smiled when she recognised one of the players.

Caught her!

At least she HOPED that was her target there, playing Black Jack among the rest of the players at the table.

Just then she heard static in her ear, and after checking to make sure no one would notice. She discretely reached up with her finger and pressed the receiver on the communication device on her ear.

"This is "Top Hat" how's it going everyone?" M-Leaders voice came in on the "Blonde" woman's hidden communicator she had in ear, hidden by her long blonde "Hair".

"This is "Battle-Ship", nothing from up here..." Robo-Warriors voice said "Cyber-29 and I are tapping into the casino's security system and surveillance, we should find her soon...hopefully it's her this time!"

"Thimble" Here..." Said Silicon, "nothing in the bars or restaurants"

"This is "Cat" I don't see or smell her either where I am..." Murdoch's voice sounded, "I'm going to check the casino across the way. Maybe she already left to try her "luck" there"

"This is "Boot", I think I found her down here at a Black Jack table" The "Blonde" woman was really Raven Ducard, disguised as a Vegas looking Server girl, "And It better be, because the next guy who tries to goose me gets zapped!"

"This is "Race car" to all you other "Tokens" from "Monopoly" out there on the airwaves..." Sounded Velocity sarcastically, "uh...what did you call yourself knight, "Man on a horse" or "Howitzer"? okay..."Man on horse" and I are checking the rooms, he thinks he's found a lead on her...and if our hunch on her body temperature thing was correct...we'll have her nailed!"

"You're the race car?" Atlanta asked almost laughing as she did.

"Well yeah, kind of fits don't you think?" Velocity said, Raven tried to hold back a chuckle herself "okay, "Man on a Horse" and I will check it out, Miss "Boot" and you all the other game pieces should follow the lead, I think she probably has It and that woman might be he after all...and not one of her "sisters" in crime".

The woman in question was doing well at the table, occasionally she would look down at her cellphone and read what it was saying on it.
