Shawn Mendes' best friend and solo artist Camila Cabello is called forth to assist him on writing and producing his sophomore album in Upstate New York. A romance sparks and the two are now closer than ever.

Camila ~ Walking out of small bus bathroom, I see Shawn silently scrolling his thumb on his phone. He looks far too bored to enjoy the bus ride. I take a seat next to him as a smile creeps up on both of our lips.
"So, we can watch a movie if you want." I awkwardly tell him. Moving my hair to one side of my body, he responds. "Sure. Sounds fine to me." I walk over to the disorganized stack of DVDs in the small brown box under the tv. After a while of simply shuffling through various movie titles, I pick out one of my favorite movies of all time: Top Gun.
"Is this good?" I hold up the DVD to Shawn to clearly see. Nodding his head, I insert the DVD into the player. I return to my seat next to him to watch the movie.
Attempting to act slick, Shawn slithered his arm around my shoulder, causing me to feel a lot more at ease with our current position.
With my cheeks flustered, I couldn't even focus on the movie anymore. My eyes blankly stared at the screen as I anticipated his next move.
"So..." he started," I'm pretty sure neither of us are watching this, right?"
"Yeah..." I awkwardly responded.
"Can I ask you something?" Looking directly at him, I now noticed just how curly his hair was. "Sure." Although my response seemed to be very bland, I was practically dying inside. That question always gets me worked up (especially when it's from Shawn).
"Are you cool if we just become a... thing?" I furrowed my eyebrows in confusion. I kinda see where this is going, but I need a bit more confirmation.
"Like... you and I start dating. Are you cool with that? I feel like we've always kinda acted like it. This is me awkwardly asking you out, to be honest. I really feel like there's a thing between us that we just can't ignore."
"Oh, um..."
"You don't have to, I'm just being weird."
"... sure. Why not? You're good at kissing, I guess." I chuckled.
"You guess?" He spoke, causing us both to chuckle. He just has this way of making me laugh all the time.
"Unless you can change that..." I bite my lip so he can get my hint. Smiling that infamous grin of his, he took no time to take over and attach our lips.
