Shawn Mendes' best friend and solo artist Camila Cabello is called forth to assist him on writing and producing his sophomore album in Upstate New York. A romance sparks and the two are now closer than ever.

Camila ~ "I'm sorry, Camila," my manager apologized to me," I'm happy for you two, but I really wished you would've told me about it first and not to a bunch of fans." He scratched the back of his neck.
"Can we still stay together? What would you have done if I told you first?" He and I sat next to each other in the back lounge of the bus as we were well on our way to our next tour stop.
"Well, I would've asked you guys to keep the relationship quiet. Protocol is that if you get into a relationship, you wait 3 or 4 months to say anything about it. But, because you already put your guys' relationship out into the world, you guys just have to flow with it. So, yes, you guys can still date, but try not to talk so much about it. I'll be hearing a lot of shit from management, but I hope you and Shawn stay happy for however long the relationship lasts." He gleefully smiled, reassuring me that he isn't just my manager, but a true close friend of mine.
"Thank you." I simply replied as I wrapped my arms around his torso and hugged him.
"Look," he held his cellphone in his hand with the screen opened up on Twitter," everybody is already reacting to the news." My eyes were glued on the small screen as tweet after tweet popped up sharing the news of our relationship. Why is such a small event blown out of proportion? It's unnecessary.
Nonetheless, I'm just glad Shawn and I are together. It is no secret he and I have longed for each other, but, whether it be our unwise youthfulness or simply our unbeknownst feelings, the arrival of this day had been placed on hold until now.
