Chapter 14 ( Miraculous events)

Reader's P.O.V.

It's been 6 months since Lucy and I decided we would live on our own away from the world. That didn't mean we just stayed in the house all day. We went out and did things but just never needed the help from the outside. Even so, we would be fine. I had inherited my parents entire life savings whenever they passed away so we didn't have to worry about anything. Even so, there was still something I wanted to do. I promised Lucy I'd take her to the zoo again and her belly had grown bigger since the last time we discussed the subject. Seeing her with child only made me think that we could take our child to the zoo as well. It would be a warm memory watching them marvel at animals they had only seen in books.

Though we were planning on going to the zoo this afternoon, we found ourselves a little preoccupied, or at least I was. It's hard to describe the feeling a man gets when he sees his pregnant wife. Your drawn to her with strong urges that you try to suppress them because you don't want to accidentally her the baby. Still, that didn't stop me from showing her other ways of affection. I was currently bathing Lucy. The room was steamy from the hot water. A drop of water slid down the side of my face and landed in the bath water below as I dragged a towel gently along Lucy's belly. She had become use to me by now and didn't even try to conceal her moans as warm air emitted from her mouth.

I smirked up at her as I placed butterfly kisses up her stomach. When I reached her chest, I gave them a nip and a lick. Upon placing her nub in my mouth I was surprised to find her breast had not started to make milk yet. Though I knew that her milk production will come soon since she didn't have too long to go before they baby was on the way. Though it wasn't necessary, we had plenty of baby formula.

Lucy had let our exasperated gasp as I made my way to her lips, still dragging the towel along her body to double the sensation. Her skinning felt like it was scorching mine as I placed my lips on her. To me, Lucy had a unique taste that I never got tired of. I swirled my tongue in her mouth, tasting ever inch of her, rubbed my tongue against her, bruising her lips as I snaked my hand further down. Upon reaching a center spot, Lucy arched into me and I arched into her before I suddenly stopped all simulation and broke away. I gave her a very mild and mischievous look.

(Y/n): Don't we have somewhere to be?

I say bluntly before wrapping a towel around Lucy who gave me a confused look that I returned with a smile.

(Y/n): We can continue when we come back from the zoo.

I said as I led Lucy to get dressed and this seemed to make her happy.

Time skip.....

Going to the zoo was something that I knew would bring a lot of memories back to Lucy. Particularly memories of Kouta who was her first love but this was understandable. However, Lucy was doing well in moving on and though she mentioned him from time to time it was never too impacting and she never let the past sadden her. She made me proud as I took her hand in mine as we entered the zoo. We didn't even have to go all the way inside before we were already looking at animals. Lucy was immediately excited. I could just imagine how she reacted when she first came her. I pictured a small Lucy, marveling at an elephant in front of her. Even as a pregnant woman, she moved fast and I found myself chasing after her we wondered farther into the zoo.

We ended up visiting the black panther enclosure. It was dark and at first it just looked like an empty enclosure.

Lucy: I don't see it anywhere.

Lucy said as she searched hard for any sign of a big cat inside. I started to scan the enclosure with her before catching the slightest movement and prowling eyes.

(Y/n): Oh there it is. It's over by that rock. Do you see it's green eyes?

Lucy looked in my direction and was surprised when she saw the panther who was staring at us with a predatory look. It clearly wished that the glass between us had suddenly disappeared so it could know doubt have us for dinner but then even if that did happen, Lucy would shred it to pieces with her vectors before it came anywhere near us.  Though I knew she'd be a little sad if she had to kill it, she really did love animals.

After coming out of the panther enclosure, Lucy and I saw giraffes, a gorilla, a peacock that was somehow given the privilege to roam the zoo freely, monkeys and even hippos. We had walked around for at least and hour before stopping to sit and rest. I didn't want Lucy on her feet to much. As she sat on a bench nearby, I went to go get us something to eat and came back with snow cones and corndogs. As I watched Lucy eat her snow cone, she told me the story of how she had her first one. I recalled that, Lucy was unable to have the luxury to eat certain foods when she was held captive but now, I wanted her to try every new thing we cam across. I bit into my own corndog before looking about and noticing various families, each complete with one kid or more.

It was nice to know that soon we'd be just like the rest of these people and be able to take our kids on fun trips like this. I closed my eyes for a moment and smiled not realizing my hand slowly slithered to Lucy's belly and rest upon it. I felt Lucy place her hand on top of mine as we took in the moment and at that very second something miraculous happened.....a kick from our unborn child that would become one of many.
