On our way back home from the zoo, Lucy and I passed by the house for the three nice old ladies. This time, all three of them were sitting outside in their rocking chairs. They seemed like they've been waiting to see us for the longest time since they were not out when we left.

Mrs. Riza: Oh (Y/n): Come over here for a minute.

She said as she waved at us.

Lucy and I walked over as they gave us their signature senior citizen smiles which we awkwardly returned.

Mrs. Okawa who had noticed Lucy's enlarged belly upon us coming closer had gasp so hard that I was worried she was having a heart attack.....or an asthma attack....or both.

Mrs. Okawa: Lucy! You've gotten so big, you look like you going to burst. Looks like you and (Y/n) have been busy.

Mrs. Shino: Seems like the baby could be do any day now. It's been 9 months already  and we are just finding out that you are preggers.

Mrs: Riza: We could have given a baby shower....

Mrs. Riza pouted, seemingly very disappointed at a lost opportunity.

Mrs. Okawa: But no worries, no worries, we still have our gifts. We finally finished your bini's and sweaters. Sorry it took so long, we're....very forgetful.

Mrs. Okawa laughed as she reached into her knitting bag and pulled out two matching sweaters and bini's

(Y/n): Wow, thank you.

Lucy: Their very pretty.

Lucy said as she placed the bini over her head.

Mrs. Riza: Think of it as something to keep your belly warm until the little ones out.

Mrs. Shino: You two make such a lovely couple.

Mrs. Okawa: Well, we don't want to keep you. Lucy should be up on her feet too long.

Mrs. Shino: Just let us know if your low on anything for the baby, we'd be happy to help out, especially if lack of clothing is the problem.

Mrs. Riza: We should just make clothes for the little one anyway. It's so much easier. I have the cutest design for a onesie.

Before we knew it, the three of them were chatting away about things they'd made for the baby that Lucy and I both knew they'd probably forget about some time today. Still, we enjoyed them all the same as we waved them goodbye and hurried home.

Lucy's due date was sneaking closer and closer. We had been keeping track of the time and the baby could be due this month at any day and at anytime so I made sure to stick close to her.  I was going to miss cuddling up to her baby bump at night but a live baby was even more exciting than an unborn one. Truthfully I couldn't wait. Just in case Lucy went into labor, I went around the house gathering anything I thought would help with the birth. I waited all day, prepared for any signs that our baby didn't want to be cramped up in Lucy's womb anymore but nothing happened for the entire day.

I just thought that maybe it was a false alarm. I still kept Lucy in my sights. She insisted that she felt fine and wanted to play some music so I helped her up to the attic and listened to her play on the piano. I sat next to her and listened to her feelings pour from her fingers and into the piano keys. We were both wearing our sweaters and bini's and Lucy looked comfortable as her sweater hugged her tummy in warmth.

Unlike the beginning, Lucy had became an excellent piano player during the time she was pregnancy. She had gotten even more passion about it since to her, she wasn't just playing for herself but the baby as well. When I had eventually created the sheet music for Lillium's Descent, I had Lucy play it and her version was better than mine. It was extremely emotional, as if Lucy was telling her entire life through the song and that's when I knew that this was the perfect tune.

Even the baby liked it, because when he or she went into a kicking fit, all we had to do was play the tune and they would settle down. If the baby thought the music was great then there's no denying it's potential so that's when I got to work and building Lucy's very own music box. I knew she loved them and now she had her very own tune that would go with it.

So when Lucy went to sleep, I worked in the kitchen, making the perfect music box to represent Lucy. It would become our family heir loom. Honestly, this was the second music box I made but this one was far more special than the first one and I would put all my efforts into it. It took me a few hours but after getting the box design and working diligently throughout the night, I had finally gotten the music box polished and neatly wrote Lucy's name and the music's name on the box in cursive golden letters. The tricky part was putting in the music, you had to do it just right or else yo could miss a note and put the entire tune off.

In the dead of the night, as the moon shined on me, I had finally completed the music box and began to line the insides with nice leather, silk, a mirror and a nice sizeable clock right in the center of the lid. To test my work, I took a deep breath and turned the crank. However, after a few seconds I was a little disappointed that the music box hadn't started to play when I opened it up. I sighed and was about to go back and see what I did wrong but that's when the music suddenly started to play. I looked up at it with surprise and joy. It sounded wonderful as the song echoed into the silent night. No sooner had the music box began to work, I heard a piercing scream coming from Lucy room. I quickly closed the music box, grabbed it and ran towards the bedroom with it in hand.

I arrived to see Lucy tightly gripping the bed sheets that were dripping a liquid onto the floor and that's how I knew that it was time.
