Btw this coming Sunday is churrology birthday so everyone sing her happy birthday on 10/30!

Oh also, did y'all know Starbucks has a seasonal drink named the "Frappula?" (That's why I picked the title lmfao.)

"Are we really this basic? I'm pretty sure Starbucks closes at 9:30 anyways and it's already 9:20."

"Would you relax? We're two seconds away and there will probably be no one there which means no line! Come on, Scotty. It's gonna be fun." Scott rolled his eyes at the little blonde girl beside him and crossed his arms over his chest.

"We're getting Starbucks at 9:30 pm on Halloween in our complete Halloween costumes, Kirst. We are the lamest people alive." Kirstie managed a small laugh before parking her car and climbing out.

Just as she suspected, the whole place was empty besides the barista. The bell jingled on the door as it closed behind Scott and the small brunet wearing cat ears jumped at the noise before whirling around.

"Welcome to Starbucks!" Scott's eyes slipped from the menu to the voice ringing through the room and he felt his eyes goes wide at the sight before him.

The slim figure in front of him, which he had previously assumed to be a female, had to have been the most beautiful man he'd ever seen. His face was marked with a few lines to resemble whiskers, the point of his nose was painted black, and the ears on top of his head finished the outfit. His torso was covered in a baggy black sweater and if Scott had to take a wild guess, he would assume he was wearing black jeans to match.

"You two sure look festive. You're obviously a very beautiful Dorothy," the brunet said, glancing at Kirstie, "and what are you?"

Kirstie could tell by the way her tall friend was staring at the barista that he was awestruck. A smile blossomed on her lips at the realization. It had been a long time since she ever saw Scott interested in someone. After Alex, he mostly kept to himself. The silence went on too long and she nudged Scott's side to get his attention.

"What? Oh... I'm just a skeleton thing. I kind of planned late on the costume and just did my face." The blond's cheeks flushed red when the brunet flashed him the most beautiful set of dimples I'd ever seen.

"Well you make a great skeleton thing," he winked. "What can I get for you two?" Kirstie placed their order and then dragged Scott to an empty sofa against one of the walls.

"So. You like brunets now, huh?" She laughed when Scott blushed again.

     "What? No!"

"So you're telling me you're not interested in mister beautiful over there?"

"No! I mean.... he's beautiful. I don't think I'm his type." Scott watched her roll her eyes at his response.

"Ask him out! He's getting off work literally as soon as he finishes our drinks! Come on, babe. It's time."

Scott's hesitation was evident, and Kirstie knew by the look on his face that he was going to miss his chance if he stayed in his head any longer. Instead of giving him the option of talking to the brunet, she put matters into her own hands. Scott watched her lift her phone to her ear, answering a very obviously fake phone call and talking obnoxiously loud so she was sure the barista heard her.
