"SCAA!" Mitch watched his blond's face nearly split in half at the sound of his nephew screaming his name. "I missed you!" The brunet managed to tug the suitcase from Scott's hand just in time for a small body to crash into the larger man's legs.

"I missed you too, buddy!" The little boy was off his feet in seconds and getting spun in circles. The loud screeching and giggling made Mitch smile fondly at the pair. He loved how much Scott loved Landon. "Let me put these big suitcases up in the bedroom and then I'll come back and play, okay? The little boy was already starting to pout and ball his small hands into Scott's shirt so he didn't have to be set down.

"It's okay, babe. I can take them up." Scott's eyes snapped to his brunet and he cocked his head to the side just slightly.

     "But they're heavy, Mitchy..."

"And I'm a big boy and will get them up the stairs and to the bedroom. Just go play. I will be fine." The baritone hesitated again and Mitch laughed, setting a kiss on his cheek. "Go! Landon, tell him to let Mitchy take the bags."

"Let Mitty take 'em, Sca!" The larger man laughed and settled a kiss to Mitch's lips before jogging to the back yard with the little blond boy in his grasp.

Mitch was halfway up the stairs with the first large suitcase when he realized this was going to be much harder than he planned. It took a lot more effort than he had expected, but after another half hour, the bags were all in Scott's old bedroom and his arms hurt like a bitch. The things he did for that man.

"Hi Momma!" Connie grinned when the brunet leaned around her and set a kiss on her cheek. "What are you doing?"

"Just making dinner. How was the flight?"

"Is there anything I can do to help?" Scott's mom set Mitch to work chopping onions before the tenor continued on. "The flight was good. Your giant son fell asleep on me about three seconds after the plane took off and my whole left side was numb by the time we landed." Connie's laughter echoed through the kitchen, provoking a smile to form on Mitch's lips.

"Why didn't you wake him up and tell him to get off!" Mitch paused his chopping and glanced out the window in front of him, watching his favorite man chasing around the small boy that looked so similar to him.

"I like when he's close to me. We don't get a ton of time for just the two of us between tour and traveling, so I cherish the moments we do have." The brunet didn't realize he was still staring out the window at the pair until he felt a hand on his forearm.

"He's lucky to have met you all those years ago. Your parents and I always knew you two were special for each other. You must have been the youngest pair to find their soulmates. It takes some people until they're sixty. It only took you guys eight years." Mitch could feel warmth spreading through his chest.

"We got very lucky to find each other. I don't know where I'd be without him." The woman to his right smiled and then took the knife and cutting board from Mitch.

"I think I need you and Scott to run to the store, and I need Landon to help me make stuffing." The brunet met Connie's eyes and a small smile formed at the wink she offered him.

"Thank you, Momma." With another kiss to her face, Mitch was out the door to steal his boyfriend back for a couple hours.

-----

"Okay mom, you're sure this is all you need?" Scott looked over the list of food one more time before waving bye to Landon.

Mitch led the pair through the front door, and as soon as it closed, he wasted no time in pushing Scott back against it and finding his lips. The brunet could tell he was surprised, but he melted into Mitch's kiss without too much hesitation.
