Third Person POV
After a week in the hospital and many arguments with his mother and Thea, Oliver finally managed to convince them that he was prepared to go back to school. He probably wasn't ready to go back to college, but he needed to see her. He needed to see Felicity and make sure that she was okay. Laurel had hunted down the distant beauty after the accident, but she refused to see him; she didn't want to go near him from what Laurel said. He thought it might just be the end of him if he didn't see her again, but it was most likely his angsty young adult hormones playing apart of that.
" Oliver..." Tommy's voice was cold, hurt, and despicable as he entered their dorm room for the first time since the wreck. It was the first time that they'd seen each other since the confrontation in the hospital. Both of them had said things that they regret that day, but both of them just so happened to be two of the most stubborn people in the world; they weren't going to crack anytime soon.
"Thomas." The Merlyn quickly grabs his jacket and b-lines for the door, leaving Oliver alone in the room. Thomas?? He'd never called Tommy by his full name before and it felt foreign on is tongue; it felt wrong. He had better things to worry about than trying to get Tommy on his good side again, such as finding Felicity. Glancing on the small general digital clock sitting on the bedside table, it reads 11:03 am in the strange red digital type. The brunette would be finishing her first class of the day and would hopefully be going to the small cafe that Laurel mentioned to me a few days ago; Felicity always spent her mornings there before heading onto her next class.
Walking into the quiet little cafe her gaze immediately lands on the now blonde that's her, Felicity. She wears a black button up coat, her hair tumbling gently over her shoulders as her feet swing back and forth, using her fingers to rapidly type on a laptop. Just as Oliver's about to make his way over to her, a tall lanky brunette walks over and hands her a coffee cup before pecking her gently on the cheek. It takes him a moment for him to recover before he gets in line for coffee. He wasn't going to let this be a complete waist of time considering he was ditching class for this. After getting his plain black coffee he was about to leave when he hears someone call his name.
"Oliver!" He whirls around to see Felicity making her way over to him, a giant smile plastered on her face, her bright blue eyes twinkling like stars to him.
"Felicity. I'm glad you're alright. I'm so sorry that you had to be apart of that-"
"Oliver. It's no big deal. Do you want to come sit with us?"
"Is that your boyfriend?"
"Boyfriend?" She seems to be dumbfounded, laughing lightly in the process.
"Oliver, Barry is like a brother to me. He's dating one of my best friends Kara. He's driving to see her in National City and stopped here for the day to visit. Her cousin is getting married, but he thought it would be nice to drive down early so they could spend more time together." And somehow in that very moment Oliver had managed to make a complete fool of himself.
"Oh, I see."
"Now do you want to come sit with us?"
"Sure. And Felicity, it's really good to see you again." Her cheeks manage to flush a light shade of pink before she leads him over to the table. It's strange to see how much she'd changed in a week. She'd gone from a shy, closed off, sad girl to bright, bubbly, and cheerful. Either way, Oliver found her beautiful.
