She's a dream but he's wide awake.

She's an illusion, but he's facing the reality.

She's the darkness, but he's in the light.

She's the cold winter, but he's the blazing heat.

They're opposites.

Never meant to meet.

So now tell me, how can life learn to love death?

How can the ocean thirst for the desert's sands?

How can summer miss the winter cold?

And how can you learn to love me?

It's impossible as it seems to be.

I am that nightmare in your peaceful sleep.

I am that song you always hated to hear.

I am that view you refuse to see.

I am that picture you don't want to capture.

I am that sky you don't want to be under.

I am that passenger you never wished to be next to.

I am the one who's always invisible to your sight.

And I am the one you never wanted.

Never been and probably never will.

'Cause Darling, I'll always be your opposite.
