  I couldn't stop biting my nails on the way home. I was going to tell him one way or not. I had to trust that he would believe me and he had to trust that it meant nothing to me. I had to forget about jake even if that kiss did mean a little. I walked in the door and just ran into Ethan's arms. "Somethings up what's wrong babe," he said smiling. I started to shake and tears filled my eyes. His smile left and he started to look very concerned. "Okay well somethings wrong let's sit down," he said nicely. "I need to tell you something and I need you to know this is the total truth," I told him the whole story and I cried the whole time. "Please don't be mad I thought it was you the whole time. I got so caught up in the moment thinking you surprised me because that's the type of thing you would do. Then the lights turned back on when the printer was ready and I gasped that it wasn't you. And I told him how wrong that was and how I felt nothing and oh my gosh I'm so sorry Ethan." I wanted to talk more and apologize but he stopped me. "Claire it's okay. That is something I would do and I can see how you thought it was me. If you didn't feel anything and have no feelings for him then it doesn't matter. I knew he was a jerk." "The thing is he thinks we have something because I kissed him back." "You kissed him back? What?" he said shocked. "No no, only because I thought it was you like I said," I said trying not to cry even more. Ethan looked so pissed. He looked like he could punch a wall. He kissed my forehead and said he would be right back. He quickly got up and walked out the door, then it hit me and I rushed after him. "Ethan you can't do this to him you could get in so much trouble." "Good thing he lives close because he's about to learn." "Ethan please stop just talk to me. I'm with you not him and he knows that. Look please, I will never talk to him again." I said begging. Before I know it we are in Jakes apartment and I'm screaming. Ethan straight up punches him and Jake falls over. "Ethan stop, please. It didn't mean anything I love you." I said in tears. "Claire I see the way he looks at you and how badly he wants to be your boyfriend. I want him to know that you're with me. He can't do this and not learn." "Dude, Ethan please it won't happen again. It was stupid and I should have controlled my feelings." Jake said begging. Ethan lunged forward and threw another punch. 'Ethan stop" I screamed.

I managed to grab Ethan and pull him out the door. We were close so thank god I got him out. I slammed the door shut and kissed Ethan. He started to cry and it really surprised me. I hugged him and cupped his face in my hands. "I'm sorry Claire I shouldn't have done that I just love you so much and I can't loose you." I was crying and holding him in my hands. He grabbed me and pulled me in tighter so he was holding me now. "Ethan it's okay but I chose you. You need to understand that you're the one I love. We need to hope he doesn't press charges." Great on top of school I had to deal with this and Ethan possibly getting kicked out."
