Kay's P.O.V ... The Past Is Over and Done With

Kay’s P.O.V

“My brother, wants to know what we want from the store.” Maddy asked as she entered Savvy’s room with a phone clutched to her ear. I sighed and thought of what I wanted.

“I want some Dark Chocolate M&M’s … I think Savvy here will want a gallon of chocolate ice cream.” Savvy’s head bobbed in agreeance to Hope’s ice cream idea.

“Okay, Kay wa-“ Maddy stopped talking and was listening to the other line. “Yes, Kay is here, along with my other friends … Why?” Maddy asked the person on the phone. “Whatever … Kay? What do you want?” I become confused as to why the her brother –

I bet she is talking to Christopher … Shit! He knows I'm here! Double shit, he'll have to come here to drop off the food!

“I-I-I don’t want anything.” I lied and looked at the floor. Tears threaten to come out of my eyes. I knew I couldn’t cry in front of Maddy or Hope, who knew nothing about my past with Christopher.

"Okay ... Well, Christopher, just get the M&Ms, Dr. Pepper, ice cream, and any other junk food that you see." Maddy stated to Christopher on the phone. "Ladies, what shall we do?" Maddy asked as she hung on the phone.

"Cry," Savvy suggested as she sat up in bed. I noticed that her eyes were red and puffy. I really felt like walking my skinny ass over to Allen’s house, and giving him a piece of my mind. To hurt one of my friends like that meant war. Oh, I’m going to fight back … With Vinny as my weapon. Soon, Savvy will realize that Allen was a waste, and Vinny was a good guy.

"We're not crying anymore!" Maddy said, with a chipper voice. 

"Then, what are we going to do?" Hope asked as she looked up from the notepad she was drawing in. 

"Well," Maddy walked over to the bed and grabbed a pillow. "I can think of a few things." With that Maddy threw the pillow at Savvy.

"You bee-itch! How dare you hit a broken-hearted girl?!" Savvy said and then stood up on her bed, gripping a pillow. "You. Don't. Hit. A. Sad. Savvy." Savvy said hitting Maddy with ever word. Everyone erupted in giggles when Hope got up and wacked Savvy with a pillow from behind. I immediately shook my head and thought a pillow fight was so … middle school, but who gave a crap? I snatched a pillow from Maddy’s hands, and beat her with it. She shrieked and backed away. I saw in the corner of my eye, Hope. She was coming at me; I turned around and smacked her right dead in her face. Soon, we were all running and jumping everywhere, dodging hits and trying to strike an unexpecting victim.

I was making a move towards Maddy, when I saw something silver fly pass my face. I looked over and saw Savvy holding a bag of Hersey Kisses.

“Oh, no!” Hope yelled, and snatched the Hersey Kiss that fell after Savvy’s bad aim at my face. “It’s on!” Hope tossed the Hersey Kiss at Savvy who ducked in the nick of time.

“Kiss fight!” I shouted and soon we were throwing Hersey Kisses at each other. I had to admit they hurt when they hit you, but we were having too much fun to care.

I watched Savvy aim at me. I bent down right as it came flying through the air towards me. I stood back up and threw one at her, she moved away, and instead of hitting her, I hit the person who just opened the bedroom door … Christopher.

“Ouch.” He said as he came in hand full of grocery bags. He put the bags on Savvy’s desk, turned and looked at us.  His blue eyes locked in with mine. I could feel all my old feelings resurface ... Savvy coughed, clearly trying to snap me out of my staring. I quickly looked away, cheeks red. One look and I felt like I should forgive him … But he hasn’t asked to be forgiven and was what he did forgivable?
