Hi again for the very last time!
How I wish, this is not my last blog but every story has its own beginning and ending. Anyway, marami nang nangyari at sa lahat ng yun… ayoko ng umasa.
Isang buwan na din ang lumipas pagkatapos ng come back concert nila dito sa Pilipinas. Parang kailan lang… hindi ko pa din siya nakakalimutan. Mahal na mahal ko pa din siya at hindi na ata magbabago yun.
Bumalik ako sa Manila for good. Nagsawa na din ako sa factory namin and besides, namiss ko ang magshopping! Magpapasko na din naman eh kaya shopping is not a big deal. I used to go shopping before, though.
Anyway, hindi ko muna pinaalam kay mommy na dadating ako. Gusto ko kasi silang surpresahin ni Rain and while strolling at the mall, someone just bumped on my way.
“Wait...” napalingon ako sa nagsalita. “Oh my god! Sky Hernandez?!” he interrobanged.
I smiled and he really looks so surprised.
“Anton? Hi! It’s been a long time.” I said.
“It is! Oh come on. I was so surprised. Kamusta ka na?” tanong niya. Wow? Nagbago ihip ng hangin?
“I’m good. Uhmm you want to have a drink?” alok ko.
“Sure. Coffee?”
“Yeah, anything. So?”
“Let’s go. I have a lot to ask about you.” Sabi niya then pumunta kami sa J.Co to have some coffee. “Well, you’ve changed a lot, Sky. Imagine, you asked me for a drink na! Eh dati kahit ata matinong sagot hindi mo ko mabigyan. ” Simula niya. Nakakatuwa magkwento tong si Anton.
“Anton, people do change.” Sabi ko naman.
“I see. Anyway, can I have an ambush interview with you?”
“Wait… ikaw nalang ata ang hindi pa nagbabago ah?”
“Ikaw talaga! Syempre, once in a bluemoon lang mangyari to at baka magbago pa bigla ang isip mo noh! Mahirap na. I know you too well! Sige na, please? I’ll promise to write a good article about you.” He insisted.
“Okay, it seems that I don’t have any choice.”
“Ayun! Thanks. Anyway, how are you na after so many years? I mean, after you came back from Korea… what have you been doing?”
“Uhmm… after I left Korea three years ago, I stayed in our bread factory in Laguna. I managed it since I was the only one left to do so. You know, ang dami ngang business na nakaline saken and hindi ko na alam kung pano ko sila imamanage ng sabay sabay. Ang hirap pala maging mayaman… nakakastress.”
“Wow! So you’re very busy pala talaga lately?”
“Not really… konti lang naman. I hired the best people naman to help me in our businesses. Bale nasa factory lang ako for three years. Sa dami ng nangyari, mas pinili ko nalang magkulong doon.”
