Chapter 14: Apartment

You woke up and checked your clock it read 03:04, 'great' you thought as you got up. You silently had a shower and got dressed, you tip-toed downstairs and made some cereal. You ate it and went back upstairs. You didn't know what to do so you started packing the few items you hadn't packed in readiness for when you left to move. By the time you finished packing it was 5:30 and your Dad was up, you could hear him downstairs so you went to say good morning.

"Good morning Dad" you said
"Bloody hell" your dad said as he jumped "don't do that (Y/N) you gave me a heart attack"
You laughed "sorry."

You sat on the couch and watched TV until you had to leave. You put on your backpack, grabbed your case and got into the taxi.
You arrived at the airport and got on the plane. You sat next to the window and listened to your music the whole flight.

5 hours later you got to Queens. You got off the plane and collected your cases, you got into the taxi. You arrived at your new house and went up to your room. You put your bag down and gazed around the big room. You pictured where the furniture was going to be and smiled.
'(Y/N)!' your parents were calling you.
You walked downstairs,
"(Y/N) you may have been wondering what school you are going to" your Mum said "you will be going to Midtown High School"
"But," your Dad interrupted "it's to far away to be travelling there every day so, since your old enough, we decided you should live in an apartment nearer the school."
You stood there in silence. You were sad but excited. You were sad you were leaving your parents but you were excited to live on your own, it would be a whole new experience for you. You walked over and hugged your parents.
"When do I move there" you ask
"This afternoon, it's already fully furnished" your Dad said
"Mr. Stark kindly hired people to decorate and furnish it." Your Mum continued.
You were so happy, Tony was so kind.

The furniture didn't arrive until the evening so you didn't have anything to sit on. You went to a restaurant for dinner then you went to the apartment.
It was beautiful, the décor was modern and stylish and there were new and expensive gadgets.
In the living room there was a huge 3 seater couch, a 60 inch TV and a mini fridge.
In the kitchen there was a black and white counter with a coffee machine, an oven, a huge fridge and a popcorn machine.
In your bedroom you had a massive double bed to yourself, another 60 inch TV and a huge walk in wardrobe.
You were so happy you wanted to cry, it was so luxurious. You didn't think it was possible to fit all this into 1 apartment.
You got out your phone and rung Tony.

You: "Hey Tony"

Tony: "Hey kid, you enjoying your apartment?"

You: "yes! Thank you so much for all of this."

Tony: "Ha it's nothing, but i added a little personal touch. Go to the wardrobe, walk to the very end and twist the lightbulb clockwise."

You: "uhh ok"

You did as he said and stood back, the wall opened and there was a space there for you to put your suit

You: "HOLY SHIT YOU DIDNT!"

Tony: "I did. Do you like it?'

You: "like it, I love it. Thank you so much!"

Tony: "Glad you do. But I have to go now. Stay safe. Bye"

You: "Bye"

You hung up. You put your suit in the space and closed the wall. Then your remembered to call Peter.

You: "Peter, come over"

Peter: "Hi to you too" he laughed

You: "Hi. But come over. I live at xxxxxxxxx" (I cbb to make one up🙃)

Peter: "That's really near to where i live, I'll be there in 5"

You: "See you"

You hung up

You led on your bed to see how comfy it was, it was so soft. You yawned, you didn't want to get up. You closed your eyes, you needed to wait for Peter... But you fell asleep.

"(Y/N)...(Y/N)" you woke up to someone poking you and softly calling your name. You opened your eyes, Peter was leaning over you. Your eyes widened as you jumped and fell off the bed, you hit your head on the floor.

"Oww"

Peter was laughing as he helped you up "you ok there?"
"Yes im fabulous thanks for asking" you replied, rubbing your head.
"How did you get in?" You asked
"You didn't close the door properly" he replied and laughed again.

"Look around!" You yelled as you dragged him around and showed him everything. You dragged him into the wardrobe and showed him the suit compartment in the wall.
"That is awesome!" He said enthusiastically
"Ahh, I know right!" You replied
"IDEA!" you yelled "do you want to watch a movie or play video games!?"
"Movie!" He answered
"Yeah!" You yelled as you dragged him into the living room and pushed him down onto the couch.
"What movie?" He asked
"Shall we watch a horror movie!?" You shouted, you were really excited now.
"No! I don't like horror movies, they're too scary" he replied
"I find them scary too but it will be fun!" You replied
"Fine" he replied
"Yes! You start the film, I get popcorn"
You say as you run to the kitchen.
A few minutes later the film and the popcorn is ready. You take it into the living room and put it on the table.
"Are you ready?" Peter asked as he sat on the couch
"Wait a minute," you said as you grabbed a blanket, closed the curtains and turned off the lights "ready"
You sat down next to Peter and put the blanket over both of you.

The movie was scary but not that scary, but there were loads of jumpscares which caused you and Peter to hide under the blanket and hold onto each other. When the movie was over you both joked about how you jumped and his under the blanket together.

Peter soon had to leave, to your dismay. You cleaned up and went to bed. It was Monday tomorrow so that meant your first day of school.
