Chapter 22: The Rock

You jumped out of the window with your suit on and began to fly to downtown Queens. You got there way before Peter so you were attempting to fight him on your own, this wasn't going very well. He was obviously way stronger than you so he was throwing cars and bits of buildings at you. All you could do was dodge and fire a few lasers at him, which didn't really do much. You had already been hit by a few bits of rubble before Peter finally got there. He didn't say anything to you and started fighting The Rock. You decided to call Tony because you didn't know what to do.

Tony:
Hey kid, I'm guessing your fighting that big ol' beast.

You:
Yeah, I need help

T:
You?

Y:
Well, we

T:
Alright, I'll be right over with my army, haha

Y:
Please hurr- agh

T:
You good?

Y:
*Cough* yeah, hurry!

T:
Will do

You, in fact, weren't alright. You had been hit by a big bit of building and thrown into another building. What hurt you most was that Peter didn't even look to check you were ok. You had really destroyed this friendship hadn't you?

Tony finally arrived with his army of sentient suits. You were all attacking in unison. About 4 of Tony's suits were destroyed and you had all suffered scrapes and bruises, but you finally defeated the monster. You landed next to Tony and flung your arms around him. He hugged you tightly and you thanked him for helping.

"So what's happening between you and Peter then?" He asked
"Uh, I'm a horrible person. I got mad and punched him and now he won't talk to me or even look at me" you said sadly.
"Speaking of him, where is he?" Tony asked, looking around. You look for him but couldn't find him, suddenly you saw a red foot around the corner of a building. You ran over and slid to Spidey, you pulled his head onto your lap and checked his vitals. Luckily he didn't have a serious ailment he was only knocked out. You carefully picked him up and walked to Tony only to be swarmed by the Press. They were firing questions at you which you tried your best to answer until Tony said "I'll handle the press, take Spidey back to your place and sort him out." With that you nodded and flew back to your apartment.

You arrived and placed him on your bed, you quickly put your suit back and looked at him. You debated leaving him in his suit or taking it off him, you decided to take it off so he would be more comfortable. With a bit of a struggle you pulled his mask off and his torso piece. You blushed slightly as you looked at his chest, you could sharpen a knife on his abs damn! You did notice a few bruises on his side, you hoped he was ok. You pulled it off his legs, thanking God that he was wearing underwear. You ran to your drawer and grabbed a massive pair of pyjama bottoms you had and put them on Peter. Then you pulled your blanket over him and pulled your desk chair next to the bed so you could stay with him but leave him space.

You had stayed with him for hours until it began to get dark. Tony had called you multiple times asking about Peter and reassuring you that he will be ok. You hadn't eaten anything in ages but you refused to leave his side. You were about to go into your living room when you saw his hand twitch you immediately rushed back to your chair and held his hand. You looked at him for a few seconds before you broke down in tears,
"Peter I'm so sorry," you cried "I'm such a horrible person! I shouldn't have punched you, I shouldn't have pushed you away and I don't blame you if you don't forgive me or if you hate me for the rest of your life but please... Please be ok" you cried into the blanket of your bed until you fell asleep. You woke up from the moonlight shining on you, you were half asleep when you heard a small voice say,
"(Y/N)?"
You jerked your head up to see Peter looking at you, still holding your hand. You quickly retracted your hand and blushed a deep crimson.
"P-Peter! You're okay!" You said excitedly you wanted to dive on him and hug him to death but you didn't think he would like it. There was a short silence before you started crying again.
"(Y-Y/N)!" He said reaching out to you.
"I'm so sorry!" You cried again "I understand if you hate me, I hate me. I shouldn't have done anything mean to you, please forgive me"
You led your head on the blanket, and cried. You felt warm hands either side of your head and gently lifted it. You looked up into Peters deep eyes, you got lost in them they were beautiful.
"I'm so sorry Peter" you said
"Me too (Y/N)" he replied.
You stared at eachother for a short while before he said something that made you want to cry...

Hey guys, I'm so sorry this chapter is slightly shorter than usual but I haven't found the time to write chapters since I'm in the year of school where I'm doing my GCSES so I'll be studying a lot but hopefully I can still regularly-ish update this book.
