Weeks later, Emely and Caitlin found themselves standing before a woman.
"Hello. I'm Dr. Tannhauser"
"Emely Hart. I mean, Emely Allen."
"Newlywed?" Emely nodded
"And expecting. Twins."
"How far along?" Emely shrugged
"I don't know. My powers must've sped up the pregnancy." Dr. Tannhauser looked at Caitlin
"She's a speedster." Emely stared at Caitlin
"And you have ice powers." Caitlin sighed
"Why didn't you tell us?"
"I wanted to but-"
"Just forget it. I already know now." They followed Dr. Tannhauser to Nigel while she went to go prepare.
"I'm Nigel. Dr. Tannhauser told me to test both you and Caitlin. Caitlin for her powers and Emely for hers. And for the pregnancy as well." Emely nodded
Caitlin went first and then Emely.
"Well, Ms. Allen, you're weeks pregnant, but with your powers, you are almost close to the due date."
"Really?" Nigel nodded
"You're about 2 and 1/2 months pregnant, and you're due date should be around when you're 4 and 1/2 months pregnant." Emely nodded.
"That's good to know."
"Yeah. You'll know when it's time." Emely nodded
"Thank you, Dr. Tannhauser and Nigel. I should get going. Caitlin," she turned to her, "when you're done here, I'll be waiting that explanation."
"Okay."

"Hart, you're pregnant?"
Emely headed down to CCPD to talk to Captain Singh, seeing as she hasn't been there in a couple of days.
"Yeah, and I'm not Hart anymore." Singh looked down at her left hand
"Old habit."
"Yeah. I keep wanting to say Emely Hart, but that's not really who I am anymore." Singh nodded
"So, you haven't really given me an answer about coming back to work, but I'll ask you when you're not so big."
"I'd love to come back when these guys are born."
"You're having twins?" Emely nodded
"Boy and girl." Singh smiled
"Who's the father?" Before Emely could reply, she felt someone's lips on her own.
She pulled away to find her husband smiling down at her.
"Allen?" They both faced Singh.
"You married him? I didn't even know you two were together." Emely laughed
"Yeah, I did. And it's a bit complicated if you think about everything." Singh looked down at her bump
"Can I?" Emely nodded
Singh touched her bump and smiled
"I'm happy for you two." Before there was a response, Emely's phone vibrated and saw that it was Caitlin
"I have to leave. Sorry." Emely kissed Barry goodbye and met up with Caitlin.
"Emely," Caitlin said as the shorter girl met up with her, "I'm sorry for not telling you. I'm just..scared of what I'm becoming."
