Chapter 38

"Can I go by Bart?"

Barry, or Bart, was confused as to who he was and who everyone else was. He pulled out his license and glanced at the name, deciding that Bart would be a better name. There was cooing come from the twins which caught Bart's attention. He noticed that one of them looked like him and the other looked like Emely. 

"She looks like me."

Barry walked over to them. "And he looks like her."

Barry glanced at Emely who walked over to him. 

"Are these our..?"

"Yeah. These are our kids."

"And are we..?"

"It's complicated right now. But we did get married."

They both stared at the twins as everyone, but Wally, went outside to talk. Barry noticed that everyone left except for Wally. 

"How do we know each other?"

"I'm your brother."

Barry took out his hand from his jacket pocket and glanced at his skin color. Emely shook her head with a smile. 

Cisco, Julian and Joe were at the door and Cisco threw something to Barry, but he didn't catch it. 

"Sorry."

Wally, Barry, and Emely began to talk and Joe took Barry and Emely down to CCPD, where they waited for Cecile to arrive. When she did, Barry stuck out his hand. 

"I'm Barry Allen, but you call me Bart."

"So what's the emergency? Where's the fire?"

"It's funny you should put it like that. Lucious Coolidge."

"Who?"

"Heat Monger."

"The worst arsonist Central City's seen since Mick Rory went off the grid. That is "until the Flash here stopped him."

Barry turned to face Emely. "What's Flash?"

"So what's the problem?"

"Judge Hankerson. He's got an opening in his docket, so he moved Coolidge's probable cause hearing up to this afternoon. Barry was the CSI on the case, so I need him to testify in order to hold Coolidge over for trial."

"Barry can't do that?"

"Why not?"

And so Joe and Emely explained what was going on to Cecile.

"What do you mean he has amnesia?"

"Barry," Emely stated, "what's her name?"

"Uh, Felicia?"

"Oh, my God."

Cecile went to go talk to the judge while Joe went to talk to some friends at the courthouse. Barry sat on the couch and Emely sat next to him. 

"I'm sorry."

"For what?"

"It feels like everyone is upset and it feels like it's my fault."

Emely placed her hand on his. "It's not your fault, Barry. We just want you to get back to normal."

"I don't even know what normal is. What have you and I been doing?"

"Uh, well, we've been busy with stuff, but at night, we've been...intimate."

Barry raised his eyebrows. "Intimate?"
