Hunter was at home with Emma, Allison and Camryn when there was a knock at the door. Hunter went over to open it and found Caitlin standing on the other side.
"Came to argue some more?"
She shook her head softly. "No."
He let her in and they sat on the couch.
"I need to go away, but I didn't want to leave without saying goodbye. I know that we've been through a lot and you're gunna be busy now with Camryn, but I wanted to let you know that you were wrong. I love you, Hunter. I'll always love you."
Hunter cupped her cheek and pulled her closer, sharing a bittersweet kiss.
"Emely's not going to like this."
"Nobody knows where she is. But I think this will tell us."
Caitlin held up the USB and Hunter went to go get his laptop. They plugged it in and opened up the only file that was on it.
"Hi. Hunter, Caitlin."
They were confused as to why Emely was on a video.
"You might be wondering where I am and where I went during the fight with Savitar. But first, I need to tell you guys some things. Hunter, you are the best big brother I could ever ask for. I'm glad that we finally found each other and were able to put everything behind us. I wish that everyone else was here to be with us, to see Camryn, but like you said, they're in our hearts. I'm sure they'll be proud that you're now a father and that you found someone like Caitlin. Caitlin, I know things have changed since Flashpoint, but you're my best friend, well, one of them. I really love you. I know that underneath all that cold, you're still you. I know you can overcome this evil inside you and I know that you'll get in control of your powers. That is, if Hunter and Julian finished the cure and you didn't take it. Anyway, I know you guys love each other and will always love each other. And I love you guys, but it hurts me to have to have to tell you both this."
Emely explained again to Hunter and Caitlin what she explained to Gypsy and Cisco and Hunter couldn't take it.
"No!"
Tears were streaming down his face, and his face was red.
"No, this is not happening!"
"Hunter-"
"I lost my family. I lost you, but I can't take losing Emely."
Caitlin broke out into tears also, not wanting to accept that was had left. Caitlin brought Hunter into a hug as they had to accept what she had decided.
"Goodbye."
