Yes! Cassie finally had her dress! She was so excited, she really wanted to show Ben! Of course she knew that was bad luck, so she couldn't. Either way, she practically skipped home with her dress in the bag and a huge smile on her face.
As soon as she got home, she went into the bedroom and hung it up in the closet next to Ben's tuxedo. She sighed happily and decided to get comfy since she had the rest of the day off from work. She took one of Ben's white button down shirts and put it on over just her panties.
She walked out into the living room with a smile and went up to the record player. She pondered what to put on for a moment, then opted for some Oingo Boingo. "Dead Man's Party" started to play and she danced a little as she cleaned up the house a bit.
"Don't run away, it's only me," she sang. "Don't be afraid of what you can't see--." She stopped when she heard a knock on the door. She went up to the record player and turned it down, before walking quickly over to the door.
She opened it to...someone she did not ever expect to see. "Olivia," she said. "Um...what are you doing here?" Olivia looked almost just as shocked to see her, especially standing there in an oversized men's shirt and clearly no bra.
Olivia has been studying abroad. Cassie heard that she wasn't going to be back for a while, but apparently she was wrong. The reason Olivia and Tom broke up was because she was going to be so far away for so long. So why was she here?
"Cassie," she said in mild shock. "Does Ben live here?" Cassie nodded and told her, "Yes...why?" Olivia looked her up and down with an odd expression. "Nothing," she said, "I just remember you two had split up. He told me to come see him when I came back and I got this address from James."
This certainly was odd. Olivia could see the confusion in her face. "Did you not know that were dating?" She asked. Cassie's mouth dropped slightly in shock. Dating? Is this chick delusional? She crossed her arms and leaned against the doorway.
"Did you not know that we are getting married?" She asked, while lifting up her left hand. Now it was Olivia's turn to have her mouth drop open. Cassie smiled smugly at her and said, "Only three weeks away now. Just got back with my dress."
Olivia's jaw clenched along with her fists. "Did you not know that we fucked?" She asked. Cassie's smile dropped. Olivia smiled and said, "Yes, several times in fact. During your little "break", he would call me in the middle of the night and want me to come over. So I did. We would go at it all night. He told me he loved me."
This didn't make any sense to Cassie because he told her he didn't sleep with anybody when they took their break. He said he was too upset to even think about it. Why would he lie to her? Because he knew I would be furious to find out it was with Olivia! She's in love with him enough as it is and he had to go sleep with her! And he told her he loved her? That has to be a lie. It has to be.
"Well, I would love to invite you in," she said, "but I need to start thinking about dinner for me and my fiancé. Goodbye, Liv." She shut the door and immediately leaned back against it. She let out a few deep breaths and shook her head. Her and Ben were going to have a major discussion when he got home.

Ben couldn't wait to get some sleep. He's been busting his ass over this play and it's been exhausting. The play itself is next week and he's the lead. The week after that is the wedding and that's the other thing that's weighing on his mind during rehearsal.
He kept getting yelled at by the theater director because instead of reciting his lines...he was reciting his vows. Right now, getting married to Cassie was the most important thing to him. If he hadn't already made a commitment to this play, his sole focus would be Cassie.
