John motions for me to starts making my plate. I slowly stand up and put one spoon of everything in my plate, and one crescent roll, as well as one steak. Kyle follows, then his mom, and finally, John. Let's just say it was pretty awkward.
I silently eat my dinner and dessert, avoiding any conversations at all. I don't want them to think I need to leave.
I ask to excuse myself when I'm finished. Sue nods and I walk back to Kyle's room. I hear footsteps approaching and it's Kyle, he smiles at me and sits by me.
"So I see you ran away from my family," he chuckles.
"I did not," I state.
"Mhm, whatever you say," his eyes twinkle with humor.
"It's what I say. So believe it."
He lets out another chuckle, and I smile at him. He's so cute I didn't realize I was staring until he smirks.
"Quit drooling."
"I'm not. Just looking," I reply blushing.
"You're turning red from embarrassment, so you were. Or else you wouldn't be embarrassed," he analyzes.
"Hmph. Sure." I retort, rolling my eyes.
He leans in and kisses me, then he pulls me down into bed, and spoons me. He's a great guy. I don't know how I was fortunate enough to run into him.. Dammit Carly. Don't fall in love. You're supposed to be using him. But he is sweet, and cute, and amazing, and perfect...
Remember the point. Using him. It's not like anything could actually develop from this relationship. We're strangers and just met. There's no way. Is there?

I internally battle myself, and I didn't realize I groaned aloud, multiple times. Kyle is looking at me with a worried expression.
"Are you okay?"
"Just peachy, I'm only thinking."
"Oh, care to share?"
"Actually no. But I have a question..."
"Carly, you can ask me anything," he says with the most sincere voice.
"I know. Well.. Um.. considering we just met do you think anything could happen with our relationship.."
He looks at me with wide eyes.
"Well do you?"
