I lay down next to him for what feels like hours until his breathing becomes even, meaning he's asleep. Now I have to figure out how to get out of here. How could he lie to my face so easily?
He rolls over and releases his grip on me, I slowly get up and grab my thing and silently walk out of the room. "Bye for now, bastard," I whisper as I walk out.
I sneak out the front door easily, and put on my shoes and jacket. This is the easiest way to leave. To dissappear. The sun will rise soon and I don't want him to find me ever again, good thing I grabbed his stash of money. $5500 in cash. It should last me awhile. I'll spend half of it on a plane ticket and I'll show up in some random state, I'll change my name, and I'll be all good. I reach into the bag kyle let me store my clothes in and sure enough there's a cellphone too. I smile as I call the operator.
"How can I help you?"
"Yes ma'am. I need to know where the nearest airport to my location?"
"Yes, let me see," I hear typing. "It's about one mile north of you. Anything else miss?"
"Transfer me to them? I need to book a ticket. My mother is sick and I need to go to her, please."
"Yes ma'am it'll be just a moment," then I hear ringing.
"JFK airport how may I help you?"
"Sir, I should be there in an hour can you reserve a ticket for me?"
"Of course, where to?" "What's the closest flight? And to where?"
"In two hours and to Alabama. It's a  $1500 ticket for being last minute."
"I'll take it. Be there to pay soon. "
"Alright have a good morning, see you soon."
I hang up and continue walking. I hear a car honk behind me to see an older woman, "Sweetie, where you off to?"
"Airport. I have to go to my mom she's ill and my car broke down. I have an hour to be there."
"Hop in."
We silently drive to the airport. As we pull up I feel releuved. No one is chasing me, he didn't find out. She pulls to a stop
I reach for the handle, Thank you so much. I appreciate it alot."
"Yeah, anytime. Now you better get going. Security may be kind of tough. Travel safe." I smile and climb out of her car, pulling my bag behind me.  I smile and cost the door.  I walk to the airport entrance as I hear tires squeal behind me. I run inside and I don't look back.
