"What do you want," I ask when I sense a certain someone astral project into the room.
"What, can't I have a conversation with my baby daddy? You know we should hang out more, considering we're the strongest telepaths in the universe," Dara says to me.
I turn around and look at her with an annoyed look. "Dara, seriously I'm not in the mood."
The brown haired woman shrugs before looking around the room. "This is Areon's and Skye's room right?"
"Yeah, but I don't want Areon anywhere near you. Now could you leave," I ask her as kindly as I could?
"Why so you can manipulate our son," she questions.
I slam my fist on the wall which causes Dara to flinch a little. "I am not manipulating him."
Dara snorts at me before laying onto Areon's bed. "Really, then what do you call trying to have him like you, because he doesn't remember what you are called?"
I sigh and look away from her. "It's called trying to build a relationship with your son, before telling him the truth."
"Yeah, your son knowing you would have killed him if you knew about him, would strain a relationship," Dara says with a nod. This woman will never understand me, what's the point of me even talking to her. "On the contrary, I actually do understand you. Why do you think I visited Areon at such a young age and never told him who I really was. I also wanted him to like me."
"Yeah, cause a psychopathic killer is so likable," I mumble to myself.
"I'm not a psychopath, I'm more of a sociopath. Also, I only kill people who are trying to kill me or hurt me," Dara responds.
I roll my eyes at her. "Whatever. Now, what do you want? I need you to leave before--," the door then opens before I can even talk. I look over and I see Matt walking in with Areon in his arms.
"Selena," Areon squeals. Matt puts the little boy down and he runs over to his mother.
"Hey Matt, thank you for taking care of Areon," I say to the young man.
"It was no problem," Matt says. "Who's your friend?"
I turn to Dara to introduce her, but when I look at her, she's frozen as she stares at Matt. She seems tense and her eyes show pain, anger, and sadness. "Are you okay," I ask her.
Instead of answering, Dara screams and charges towards Matt. She grabs him and pushes him to a wall. She pins him down before grabbing a knife and putting it against his neck. "Who sent you?"
"Dara, what the hell," I scream at her.
"I said who sent you," Dara screams to the kid.
"I-I-I d-don't know what you're talking about," Matt stutters out.
Dara pushes the knife closer to his neck. "Don't lie to me."
"Selena stop," Areon cries out as he runs to her. I quickly teleport Areon away from her and send him to my sister. I then teleport Matt away to his room.
Dara falls forward and cuts part of the wall. "Dara, what the hell." This isn't like her at all. Dara never goes crazy like this.
"Nothing," she says to me. Dara combs some of her hair away from her face. She tries acting like nothing just happened, but I can see that Matt really affected her. "I just came to tell you, that I can't see Aragon in my visions. Something is blocking him from me. That's it."
