The Mermaid I Am

Chapter Seven

As we ate we talked about not much important stuff. The sun was starting to go down and I was starting to get tired. Adam and I both decided to call it a night. "I'll see you tomorrow, ok?" He said in a soft voice. "Yeah for sure" I said back. As we got up to go our homes he pulled me in close. He leaned in closer and closer until our lips touched. It was magical. I've never felt that way before. "Omg he's kissing me!" I thought almost out loud. As our kiss ended he said goodbye and jump into the water, this time he turned around and waved goodbye, I waved back. As I walked into my room I jump on my bed. "Omg!!!! He he just kissed me! I'm the happiest person Ali-" my sentence was cut off by a burning pain. "Agh!" I yelled out. I had no idea what was happening. I didn't know what to do. I was very scared at this point. The only person that was there was Adam. So I ran out side to get him. As I ran the pain got worse and worse. I fell to the ground. "Adam" I couldn't manage to yell. No answer, no one came. Adam probably couldn't hear nor see me in the dark. I blacked out. "Anna? Are you awake yet?" I heard, it was Adams voice. "Huh? W-where am I?" It was hard to talk, my head was pounding and my whole body was hurting. "Your at my house, I saw you as I went to go wake you up. You were just laying on the ground so I took you here to help you" he explained to me. "How long have I been out." I asked. "I'm not sure. I found you this morning" he said back. "Man I must have be out all night then." I said back as a sigh came out. "Do you need anything?" He asked. "Oh no I'm ok. I'm just going to rest. I'm really hurting" I said back. "Oh ok. I leave you to rest. While you rest I'll go make some breakfast, how about that?" He said with a grin. "That will be grea-" once more my sentence was cut off. This time not from pain but from a knock on he's door. "Huh?" He said. As he walked to the door I just payed no attention to what was going on. "Hello" Adam said to a young girl. She looked to be maybe 8 or 9. She had long whitish hair  "Hi I'm angel" the little girl said to Adam. "Um hi...I'm Adam." He sounded a little scared. You know considering Adam was like 19 and she was 9 you wouldn't think he would be scared. The thought made me smile. "I know who you are" angel said to Adam. "Y-you do? How?" Adam asked. Now I was starting to get worried. "No need to worry about that now. I've been sent to give a message." Angel said. "And what's that message?" Adam said. "King Aradon wants to speak with you and Anna. He lives in the far eastern star." The girl said back. I was becoming nervous. How did she know my name? "Ok who is this king you speak of. What place does he rule?" Adam asked. He seemed to be more comfortable. "He rules over the mythical. Like me." Angel said while showing her wings, they were a bright blue. I was amazed. "I see. When does he wish to speak with us?" Adam asked. "Three days" angel said while giving Adam a bag. "Here, this bag has everything you'll need for the journey." Angel said. "Ok thank you but how do you suppose we get there?" He asked. "Your wings of course" she said. "Um if you didn't know we are mermaids, well she is I'm a merman" he said. "Ah I see you don't know do you?" Angel said back. "No?" Adam said. "Yo- never mined I like the king tell you himself" she said "for now just take two Pegasus. Here you go." Angel jumped up and flew away into the woods. As she left Adam looked out and saw two beautiful Pegasus standing there. One was a gray with black hair and beautiful wings. the other was a black color with black hair. I got up and stopped next to Adam. "Well what do we do now?" I asked. "We haft to go now. I tell you everything later. What's important now is that we go." He said back. "Ok" I said. As we got our stuff we went out and placed it on the horses. "Have you ever ridden a Pegasus?" Adam asked. "Nope... you?" I asked "Nope" he replied. We got on and realize the horses knew where to go so we decided that before we had left I was probably going to need to rest from the pain. So we tied up the Pegasus and heading into he's cabin to rest. "I'll see you in the morning" I said to Adam. "Ok hope you sleep well." As he said that, he kissed me on the cheek. "Quick question. Or we now...you know." "Dating?" He added. "Yeah" i said. "Will talk more about that in the morning..ok sweetie?" He said, making me blush because of the fact he called me Sweetie. "Ok..good night." I said.
