Chapter Eight

As i tried to rest for at lest a minute I was forced awake by the pain. It was around 7:30 and I decided we needed to go. With how important this king sounded I wouldn't want to be the one to upset him. "Adam, we need to go it's almost 7:40." I whispered. "Oh ok." He said back in a half way asleep toon. As I walked out to the sight of the horses I grab my bag and tied it on. "Adam where is my house?" I asked. "Ohh just follow the lakes edge and you make it there." He said. So I walked out and followed his instructions. As I got home I walked in and grabbed some clothes and some blankets and put the in a separate bag. I grab some food and walked out. I walked back to Adams house and Adam soon came out and we and were both ready to go. He tied he's stuff to he's horse and said "Ok..here goes nothing." "YA!" Adam said, making the Pegasus start flying, I did the same. As we flew I wasn't sure where we were going or when we would get there. I thought about my family and wondered if I would ever see them again. Why did I even go on this trip with him?? I've only known him for what a week at most. Why did I take this risk? For some reason it felt ok to me. Even though I just took so many chances it was like I was supposed to do this. "Hey Adam?" I said. "Yeah?" He replied. "How long you think it will take?" I asked. "Well if we keep on this course we should get there by morning." He said. And just as I felt some relief, one of the Pegasus started acting up. It was Adams, he had the black Pegasus. Adam had started calling the black one "night". I liked it. "Night! Stop what's wrong?!?" Adam yelled. All of a sudden Adams horse shot down into the trees. "Adam!!" I yelled out. I commanded my Pegasus to fly after and soon we found the on the forest floor. "Adam!! Are you ok!?" I asked terrified! "Im-im ok" he sound in a breathless voice. "No you not! You need to rest!" I said as he tried to sit up. "Bu-but we have to go" Adam said. "It's not worth letting you hurt. Do you think you broke something?" I asked. "No.. I don't think so" he replied. "Well your going to need to rest."

I know this was a really short chapter but I had to save some thing for next chapter so this was all I could give ( I know..I'm evil😇😁😏) but guess you'll just have to wait till next chapter! Hope you in joyed!! Thanks for reading
