Chapter Three

As I ran back to the cabin with a million questions In my head. Why was he so afraid of another persons voice?? Why did he come up and talk to me? Considering the fact that he's the "last one" that must mean he wouldn't want to be seen right? Apparently not. As I walk up the steps I saw my mom putting all the food onto the table. " go and wake up your sisters. It's time to eat" she said happily. "Ok mom" I said back. " Megan! Sky! Rose! It's time to get up!" I yelled out. "Ok!!" They all said at once. I was always Jealous of rose. She had beautiful long brown wavy hair and golden eyes. She always said she like my long red hair and ocean blue eyes. Megan had black hair, like my dad he had black hair and green eyes just like Megan, her hair was wavy and short. Sky had black hair as well as green eyes. My mom had blond hair and beautiful hazel eyes. All three of my sister ran out and sat down next to me and my mom. I could Barely eat anything. All those questions and more keep running through my head. And then it hit me. Was he the one who put the strange hand print on the car??? If so then that means he can walk out of water! Finally getting done eating I ask my mom if I could go back out side and of course she was fine with it, Mainly because we didn't have much to do. As I walked back out I looked around at the water to see if I could see him. I saw nothing. So I did the only thing I thought. "Adam?!" I yelled out hoping he would hear me. Splash!! I hear a loud sound come from the water. It was him jumping out. I saw something that confirmed my thoughts. He jump up onto sore and change into a man. I was amazed. He walked up to me. "Hey Anna" he said to me. "Um hi again" I said nervously. "Let me guess you saw what just happened?" He asked. 'How did he know exactly what I was thinking!' I thought. "Um yeah I kinda did" I said back. "It's ok really. I'm not some freaky monster who's going to eat you or anything, I'm still kinda human" he said with a little smile. " I know! It's just kinda shocking." I said back. After what felt like forever in awkward silence he spoke once more."so are you going to move here or something??" He asked me. "Oh no im just in vacation with my family" I answered back. "Oh so I was right? There are more of you?" He asked. "Yes" I said back. "How old are you?" He asked out of no where. "Oh I'm 16" I replied. "Oh that explains it! You must not know yet!" He said. "Know what?" I asked. " oh you'll learn soon" He said back. "Ok?"I said back. "You what..Your kinda cu-" before he could finish he sentence my sister rose walked up. "Hi Anna! Who's your new friend??" She asked me. "Oh in this is um- Adam cut me off before I could finish and said "I'm cole! I'm just passing through" he said. Why did he lie? Does that mean he could be lying to me to?? "Nice to meet you Cole!" Rose said back. "Well um I better get going" he said back. "Bye Anna!" He said to me. "Bye ada- I mean cole!" I said trying to play along. I didn't know why he didn't just say the truth but I didn't want to find out.
