DECEMBER 18TH, 2016

THE SILENCE OF her cell was a bit comforting.

Her mind was not in a good place today. Outside of her cell was Natasha, and Wanda. Natasha had made it very known that she did not like Cynthia, for reasons Cynthia didn't even know, and she and Wanda had only been around each other so much, but enough to give off okay impressions.

The two had been having a very open conversation in Russian about Cynthia; wanting to see if she'd talk back, or if she understood them.

She understood them perfectly.

"When do you think she'll respond?" Wanda asked tentatively. "Her file wouldn't have just shown her knowing six languages for nothing, Natasha."

"I know, I—" Natasha started to reply when Cynthia finally cut her off, speaking in perfect Russian, her voice picking up the accent as well.

"I can understand both of you perfectly." Cynthia sat up, looking at them. In English, she said, "My S.H.I.E.L.D. profile wasn't made for shits and giggles."

Natasha uncrossed her arms, and walked up to Cynthia's cell door slowly. "Who taught you how to fight? Speak six languages?"

"Books, myself, and Bucky." Cynthia replied, "Which, has Bucky woken up yet?"

"You haven't seen him?" Wanda blurted out quietly, which resulted in Natasha turning around to scold her. "So he is up?" Cynthia asked, and Natasha coolly replied, "We didn't want the both of you to know right away, but Steve was an idiot, and told Bucky right away. We know a lot about your friend, Millie, as well. She's here."

Cynthia stood up in a rushed manner, running over to the bars, saying, "I need to see her!"

"You'll see her when you see her—"

"I have to see her, now!" Cynthia interrupted. "She . . . She's one of the most important people to me."

"Bucky being the first?" Natasha mockingly ask, and Cynthia held eye contact and replied, "Jamie."

The large lunchroom where Cynthia was allowed to have visiting hours was surrounded by fourteen guards, all for her safety, and the safety of others.

When Millie finally came through those gray doors, Cynthia stood up from her seat, and the two collided in a hug. Cynthia held onto Millie, so tightly, that she didn't want to let go. Millie's grip was just as tight. "God, who knew trying to break Bucky out would result to this, huh?" Cynthia joked, and Millie rolled her eyes, pulling away, and said, "You're lucky I work at S.H.I.E.L.D.—I'm pulling a Peggy, and trying to exchange information to King T'Challa for you to get out on probation."
