Alina's POV
I've a blind date that my mom set me up.My mom told me that he's good looking and she told me that I will like him.Well his name does sounds cool, Ace Cade. But I don't want to believe my mom cause last time when she set me up , the guy is just so disgusting and give a bad impression. Well let's just see what will happen in this blind date.
" Good morning . Welcome to Coffee Cafe. What can I get you ?" said the waiter.
" Morning . I would like to have a cup of Caramel Macchiato . " I said
" Will that be all ?" the waiter asked and I nodded.
" That would be $3.40 " the waiter said and I handed him the money.
" It'll be ready in 8 minutes." he said and left to hand my order towards the barista.
While waiting for my coffee , I watched the scenery outside the coffee shop.I can see couples and families walking,chatting and having fun with each other.It will be great if I have the significant other to do that with me.I unlocked my phone and open my diary app and started typing my current feelings. I tend to do that so that I can transfer all the feelings that I wrote in the app to a blog. " I don't like to lead a relationship.If the guy likes me , he's the one who should lead the relationship.But I also have my own ideal type of guy.I wonder if my mom ever considered my ideal type of guy before setting me up with blind date." I typed it and locked the phone when my coffee arrive .
" Thank you." I said to the waiter , he nodded and left to do his work.
As I was looking around , a guy is walking towards my way.I examined him and thought it will be good if he's the person that I was supposed to meet.While I was having that thought , I didn't realize the guy that I was looking , stop at my table.
"Miss?" he said but I didn't respond.
"Miss Fleur ?" he said again with a louder voice and I replied back with a nod.
"I'm sorry but who are you?" I asked.
"I'm Ace Cade , your partner for the blind date , Miss Fleur." he said
"Nice to meet you but please call me Alina . It makes me feel old if you call me Fleur." I said.
"The meaning of Fleur is like a flower. That meaning is suitable for you cause you look like a flower, pretty flower." Ace said while taking a seat in front of me.
"Thank you but please call me Alina. I'll feel weird if you called me Fleur. So,what should I called you?" I asked.
"Call me Ace please. Do you perhaps know the meaning of Ace?" Ace asked.
"No,I don't.Sorry." I said and he kept quiet.
Why is he quiet all of sudden? Did I said anything wrong ? Is it because I said that I didn't know the meaning of his name ? Oh my gosh , what should I do ?
You didn't want anything to drink?" I asked.
"No, thank you." he said coldly
Yeah , I officially made him mad. What should I do ? This is just our first meeting. I don't know why but I would like to meet him again.I want to know about him more.
"Are you done?I would like to bring you to a place." he suddenly asked
" Yes , I'm done." I replied
"Okay , let's go." he said and started to walk towards the entrance of the cafe."
