CHAPTER 30 - Seb.....this is wrong

           

Elena felt different from the moment she woke up. She felt sick and had a headache, but she was trying to hide it, because Sebastian was leaving for an interview to LA. He was packing his things into bag and she was standing next to the kitchen counter. She was dizzy and almost fell, "Elena? Are you okay?" Sebastian ran after her, "I'm okay Seb," she faked smile, "no, I can see you're not," "my head just," he cut her off, "I'm staying here," "no, you just can't cancel your interview with Kimmel," "I can. I'm staying," "Sebastian I'm okay, our baby is due next month," "stop right there, I'm staying," he said and pulled his phone from his pocket. He called his manager about this situation and then he called Chris, "Hey Chris," "hey, we're on our way to your place right now," "go straight to the airport, I'm staying here," "wait, why?" "Elena is not feeling good and I want to be here with her. I've called my manager already," "okay, let us know, if something happens, okay?" "I hope it will be alright, but I will. Don't screw the interview up," "you're the one, who screws it up," "you know that's not true," "okay, okay....just watch it," "I will....bye man," "see ya pal."

He came back to the living room and saw Elena sitting on the couch watching some tv show. He sat next to her and took her hand, "you're better?" she nodded, "yes," but she wasn't, she felt little pain in her stomach. She was freaking out inside, their baby boy shouldn't be there for another month. They were sitting there and they watched movies. After 2 hours she felt better, because she didn't move at all, but it was lunch time and she decided to prepare some food for her and Sebastian. Sebastian was still watching another movie meanwhile Elena was in the kitchen. Suddenly she felt huge pain in her stomach and she was breathing faster, she knew something was wrong. She looked down and she saw blood under her legs. "Seb?" he didn't hear her, "Seb!" he turned around, "what?" he jumped out of the couch when he saw blood, he was scared, "I will call 911" he was shaking and Elena had tears in her eyes. After the call he ran to her, "it's ok, they're on their way," he said, "I'm so scared Seb.....this is wrong," "it'll be alright, do you hear me?" she just nodded.

When they reached the hospital, Elena was really dizzy, the world was spinning and everything was blushed. Sebastian was still with her. They were in front of the operation room, the doctor came for Elena, "she is bleeding. We prepared a room for the c-section," Sebastian was really confused and he held Elena's hand, "you have to stay here, you can't go with us," the doctor said to him, "but I want to be with her, please," "I know that, but it's dangerous," Elena was already unconscious, "we have to hurry," they left to the operation room and Sebastian just stood there, his hands on his head, tears in his eyes. He sat down on the chair, he didn't know what to do, he was really nervous. He couldn't imagine losing her and their son.

Meanwhile in the operation room, the doctor was doing her job. She knew, that baby's got some complications and she had to be fast. Elena's life functions were normal. "I see him," she finally reached him and pulled him out. He started crying after few moments and the nurse took him to clean up, but Elena was getting worse. "We're losing her! I need help here!" the doctor shouted.

Sebastian was sitting in the waiting room with his head in his palms. He was trying to process what was happening. He was scared, nervous. He didn't know what was happening with Elena or the baby. Suddenly another doctor was rushing into the same operation room. Sebastian knew that something was really wrong. He started crying and he had to hear a known voice..........."hi honey," "mom? I'm so scared," "what happened baby?" she heard his sobs, "we're in the hospital.....Elena.....she was bleeding and I don't know what is happening," "and where is she?" "in the operation room. They had to start a c-section.......I've been waiting for the answers for half an hour," "everything is going to be alright," she tried to calm him, "I know you're in Philly, but....can you please come?" "I'm on my way son." Few moments after his call, the doctor finally came back. Sebastian jumped and went straight to her, "he had some complications, but your baby boy is healthy and strong," "and Elena?" "she lost a lot of blood and....."
