CHAPTER 40 - Something stupid

"we are going out tonight, you're coming?" Chris asked Sebastian, "I don't know, I'm not in the mood," he looked on his notebook, "you can't just sit here and facetime, you should have fun, you should relax," "I know, but I want to see them," "and then? You can come," "I'll see," "Seb, we've been here for 2 weeks and you were just sitting in your room," "I didn't think that this could be so hard....I want to be with my son," "I know you miss him, but trust me, it'll help you to forget about this kind of loneliness for a minute," "like I said, I'll see....I'll text you or something," "okay, I'll wait," with that words Chris left the room and Sebastian sat on the bed with his notebook. He called Elena and she immediately answered, "hey," she smiled, "heey," he replied to her with a smile too, "is everything okay?" she asked, "yeah, it is.....how are you and Toby?" "we're great, Nat was here today and guess what?" "what?" "I'm going on a workshop tomorrow," she smiled, "and who is gonna watch Tobias?" "oh, he is coming with me, girls want to meet him and they'll babysit," "really?" he laughed, "I'm glad, that you're coming back to your dancing," "I'm so excited, it's been months since I danced," "do you still know how to dance?" he teased her, "haha really funny....and what about you?" "still the same....I miss you," "we miss you too Seb, but you should go out," "Chris texted you, didn't he?" "he is worried about you, you really should relax," he sighed, "okay, you convinced me," "have fun, I have to put Tobias for sleep," "tell him I love him," "don't worry," "and I love you," "I love you too dummy and now go," "bye," he smiled, "byee," she smiled and sent him a kiss.

"Daddy misses you honey, he loves you and mommy loves you too, good night," Elena put Tobias into his crib and kissed his forehead. She went to the living room and turned on the TV. Nothing interesting was there. She picked up her phone.

Elena smiled, because she could finally spend some time with her best friend. They were both busy with everything lately. Before Natalie came, she managed to clean up the flat a little and make some snacks. Natalie finally came and she brought their favorite ice cream. "you want a wine?" Elena asked her, "no, if you can't, I don't want it too, so, just some juice, but please, put it into a wine glass.....just for a better feeling you know," Elena laughed at her respond, "so, Tobias is sleeping I guess," "yeah and I'm bored. I facetimed Seb and I sent him out with your boyfriend," "he told me, your boyfriend became boring after you gave birth to your bundle of joy," "he is not boring, he's just responsible," "no, he worries himself too much. He should have fun, when he is away, you know, what I mean," "I get it Nat, but he doesn't want to and I can't force him to do that," "but you did today," "it was necessarily, he was locked up in his room for days," "I just hope that they won't do anything stupid," "let's just hope."

Natalie stayed the night with her best friend and they both took care of Tobias. He was up in the middle of the night crying and Natalie wanted to calm him down. One day, you'll be a great mom," "I hope so, but with a baby like Tobias is everything easy, I mean, look, he is so calm......I know he can cry loudly, but he is so precious," "yeah, when I put him to sleep, he falls asleep immediately......and Seb loves him so much....Tobias enjoys his presence," "he is a great dad and that's why he has to learn how to relax now," "I know and he will...let's go back to sleep, it's already 4am," she smiled.

They woke up around 8 am. They were both so happy, that they spent night together just talking and taking care of a baby. Natalie had to go to work, but first she helped Elena with changing diapers. "Nat, you don't need to do that," "but I want to, remember? Practice," "I know, but you're gonna be late," "okay, I'm leaving, but we have to make another night like this," "we will, I promise," Elena said and hugged her, "I'm gonna call Chris about last night, you know, what they have been doing," "I think Seb already texted me something, I have to check it out," "call you later, bye," Elena closed the door and went for her phone.
