CHAPTER 38 - Leaving

It was another day in their life. Sebastian was out a lot these days, but he texted Elena all the time. He never texted her that much and that was the reason why it was a little suspicious to her. She was at home reading some books and watching Tobias when someone knocked on their door. She wasn't expecting anyone. When she opened the door, she saw her brother standing there "ok, this is a surprise," she said, "I hope it's a nice surprise," he smiled and looked at the baby in her arms, "can I?" he reached his hands closer to him, Elena just smiled and nodded. "he really looks like your baby daddy," "it's his son, so," "speaking of him, isn't he supposed to be here right now?" "he is out with his manager and you're here alone?" "yes......Claire is really sorry, but she has a lot of work and I really wanted to meet my nephew. I'm gonna teach you how to party with beautiful ladies," he smiled at Tobias "no, you're not," "like I said, he is my nephew and I'm his uncle, so, deal with it sis," "you're not living in this country, so I'm not worried about that stupid idea of yours," "what idea?" Sebastian was standing behind them, "his uncle's advices," Elena stood up and kissed him, "I didn't hear you coming," "oh, I was silent you know, just in case," he smiled, "and how is this handsome?" he looked at Tobias, "I'm good, thanks," Lucas said, "he meant Tobias you dumbass," Elena looked at him and Sebastian laughed, "hey Luke, how is it going?" "it's great actually," he gave Tobias back to Elena and pulled out a photo from his pocket. It was an ultrasound picture, "Claire wanted to tell you in person, but she couldn't come like I said before," "oh my god, another baby?!" Elena smiled, "wow, congratulation man," Sebastian hugged him, "yeah, it was a surprise, but we're happy and Laura is excited about a little brother or sister."

Lucas left after an hour, Tobias was sleeping and something wasn't right with Sebastian. "did something happen?" she asked him, "no, why?" "Seb, I know when something is wrong," she said and he sighed, "I talked to my manager about another filming," he looked down, "and?" "and I have to leave," he looked sadly in her eyes. That was it, she knew that this moment will came, "for how long?" "for a month" she actually wanted to cry, but she couldn't, "and when are you leaving?" he sighed again, "in two days," he hugged her, "I'm gonna miss you so much," "I'm gonna miss you two, but hey, we've got 2 days, ok?" "I know.....I didn't expect that filming will be so soon," "me too," they were still hugging, "it had to come," "but I wanted to be with you and Toby," "we'll facetime and everything....we can make it, trust me it's not the end of the world," "it's going to be hard to focus, because I will be thinking about you all the time," "I think you are good enough not to show it and act cool," she smiled and he kissed her.

Sebastian stayed at home for these 2 days. He even didn't go to the gym with Don. He just wanted to spend his time with his family. This was all new for him. He was always happy about filming somewhere else than in New York, he called or texted with his friends, but right after he met Elena, everything changed. He wanted to be with her and now he wanted to be with their son too. It was really hard for him, to leave them alone for a month and he knew, that this is not the last filming. He was scared, that he is going to miss something. "okay, this is it," he put his suitcase on the floor and kissed Tobias's forehead, then he looked at Elena and hugged her tightly, "don't make me cry," she said, "I love you," he kissed her, "I love you too," he turned around and took his suitcase, opened the door and looked at Elena and his son again, "be safe," "you too," he smiled and closed the door. Elena went to their living room with tears in her eyes, she knew, that she was going to miss him, even it was only for a month.
