I was snapped out of my trance when I felt a big hand wrap around mine. The tunnel seemed to narrow down around me, absorbing me into its walls before I locked eyes with Baekhyun's, standing on a gray concrete in the middle of literal nowhere
The tunnel was gone, and so were my previous memories of small children shouting for me with Baekhyun in their center.
"We did it, we crossed the boarder."
Without thinking, I had pressed myself close to Baekhyum, inhaling the vague scent of perfume that still lingered on his skin after two days, mixed with his very own smell. I let out a heavy sigh as his arms wrapped around me, all around us nothing but gray, vast land.
"Where are we?"
"District 0."
District 0 and its everything has been annihilated 130 years ago. Back then, the bomb was so strong and forceful that it never allowed any plant to grow on the once fertile soil, no human life able to development healthily amidst of all radioactivity.
