Had I been trapped in the past like in a terrible nightmare? Was Baekhyun the one who saved me by waking me up to bring me to the place I had forgotten due to the scary images of what I believed was my hometown?
"You knew about this all long?"
My voice as filled with apprehensiveness.
"I had to get you back to us under any circumstance."
"Us?"
My questions was answered as two small figures jumped off the last steps of the stairs, gleeful smiles spread on their faces that reminded of mine and Baekhyun's. I gulped down the growing lump in my throat and my lips feel agape, but they were quicker to speak than I was.
"You're back mommy, you're back daddy."
It were the small children I saw beside Baekhyun after we crossed the boarder on a green, wide field; the children that were calling out for me as if they had waited for me all along, the voices in my head, my children and Baekhyun's. As I looked into their eyes for the first time, the vibrant purple sparkling their irises, the realization hit me faster than it had ever before.
I had been trapped in the wrong district and have not perceived it until Baekhyun reminded me off my real life with the flower and its color.
