On the Battlefield, May 15th 2016,

My comrades are dying left, right and center. Stupid generals know that we're just cadets. Flecks of green and brown dust are flying on this battlefield and it's masking the sound of movement and sight. That can go both ways for both sides. Good because we can move and shoot without the enemy finding us first. Bad because it means we can't hear or see where our enemy is meaning they could ambush us at any moment and before you mind can process it, you're dead.

Okay, I'll admit it, I am slightly scared - and I think everyone else is too. This is the first time we're having severe casualties without any supply drops. Talking about supply drops, where are they? They should've been here a good hour before now. I'm writing this in hope that someone will find it. Then maybe people can learn the dangers of being on the battlefield is and understand what we do.

To all those who despise soldiers and say that we are suicidal for choosing this position for a job,

Think about the last time you tried to help humanity. How long ago was it? What was the cause? And remember: Us soldiers are risking our lives for you while you sit at home playing video games or complaining to your parents that life is unfair. Well, get this, Life is Unfair. Just deal with it and move on.

To those who support the soldiers,

Thank you for your support. You don't how much that could ever mean to us. We will be forever grateful that you are there for us and wish you the best in life.

I need to leave. Shots are nearing our hideout. I love you my dear---
